Smart-aleck!
Thank you, I take pride in my smart-aleckiness. I know it's not a word, I don't care.

Ooh I gotta admit...geeky guys to it for me

Except I can't stand to hear guys talk about Magic...it kinda bores me....I'm more into physics formulas and microbiology (I love me some micro!) Most other 'geeky' things I'm totally cool with.....and video gamers (other than those addicted to shoot 'em up...I'm talking the good classics!) have a special place in my heart
There needs to be more girls like ya out there. Im not sure I could date a girl who didnt relish in geeky interests, embrace her inner dork, and at least have some sort of passing interest in gaming.
oooh, and shoot-em-ups, or "Shmups" as I call them rocketh my sockets.

Man, the old school stuff ROCKS!!! Nothin like hookin up the old Atari and playing some Asteroids or my personal favorite, Pole Position 2. Ooooo...maybe the old Nintendo, I love Nintendo, in fact, I'm one of the 3 guys that still own a Nintendo 64. THAT'S commitment right there.
I thought most people had a N64? Commitment would be someone that still had an Atari Lynx, Sega Master System or Turbo Grafx 16:smile:
That and the Virtual Boy were the two systems I hate that Nintendo put out. Loved their NES/SNES/Game Boy Advance/Gamecube, but didnt care for the monochrome nature of the game boy or virtual boy, and I liked the Playstation more than the N64. I played the Wii this weekend...Im still figuring out why they didnt just release the nunchuck/remote control periphreal for the Gamecube since it appears to have identicle graphics.

I never had the pleasure of owning an N64....

I have an NES (three actually), a Dreamcast (and I freaking loved it!), and old atari of my dad's and my trust game boy pocket.

But the DSs are so cool that I think I'm going to have to get one for Christmas....
Oh the Dreamcast, one of THE greatest systems, ever. I consider the Gamecube a sequel to the Dreamcast.

I don't have a Dreamcast, I'm more of a Nintendo guy. I got Lee Trevino Golf for cryin out loud. I also had S.O.S. for SNES. God I'm old.

I wish I had a ROB the robot/power glove/orange light gun and all that, but I was so poor...I pretty much just went over to friend's places to play or watch.
****, Im so old I remember when Joust came out...at the arcades:smile:

Oh god, Sonic the Hedgehog. How can I forget about Sonic? I used to spend a lot of time at my friends house playing Sega and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Daniel
Have ya played the newer Sonics for Game Boy Advance or DS? So glorious.
I have mixed feelings about the Xbox 360 one tho...especially the ending...eeesh, talk about ruining everything people grew to love about the franchise.

I was reading the posts about girls liking geeky guys and I have to say, I'm one of them. My husband is the biggest geek ever but that's what attracted me to him and why I love him. So geeky guys, have no fear, girls like me do exist and I'm sure you'll find someone someday!

My girlfriend and I decided to star in our own reality TV show, here's a tidbit/sneak preview for the pilot...

D'SNOWTH: Honey, are you okay?

KATHY: NO! You know I can't go through with this, we'll be separated by a few hundred miles!

D'SNOWTH: Would it helps if I moved to Canada?

KATHY: I wouldn't let you make the sacrifice; you're an American citizen, you could get into trouble, not that we Canadians have anything against the Americans.

D'SNOWTH: Then I'll become a Canadian citizen!

KATHY: NO! Again, I won't letyou make the sacrifice! Besides, you know I have a husband and two daughters!

D'SNOWTH: Aww Kathy...

KATHY: And what the heck are we doing on reality TV anyway?

D'SNOWTH: Well... uh... think of it as... improv!

KATHY: That doesn't help!

NO! You all know I'm not supposed to write outside of T*K*O! I just did that in the spirit of fun of this unusual thread.

My personal belief is that it takes a geeky guy to put up with a geeky girl and vice versa, so bring 'em on!
