Mother in City hospital

I've recently talked to her on a payphone. She and Nan and Fran are all a bit run down with coughs, but the radium is going fine. And hopefully they'll be over the worst of their coughs by the time I go down to see them in a week's time.

I'll continue to pray for her too, Marty. And thanks for saying a prayer for me recently, as well as when you prayed for one of my family before. Prayers sure are effective and powerful (James 5:16). All because of WHO they are directed to.

Here I am briefly online at my brother's house where I've just stayed overnight. My train ride went well and it was so joyous meeting my baby neice Vanessa for the first time

But I'll be spending the rest of the week with mum so I won't have any further online access. So please keep me in your thoughts and I will miss you all.
But I eagerly anticipate my return and I'll tell you how my time with mummy went

Well I'm back again now.
She's 75% through her radium and I can expect her and the other relatives home on Friday next week at about 4:30 pm

It's great that prayer has been answered for her and I expect her to get to see her grandchild Vanessa grow up

I gave Gary and Bronwyn 15 cds for the baby containing fairy tales, nursery rhymes and kiddie songs. I told them there are more but I'll send them down at Christmas.

I think they were very grateful and I trust Vanessa will get a lot of enjoyment out of them when she's old enough to listen to them.

Today's the big day. The radium is finished and she should be arriving back home along with the other relatives by plane between 4:30 and 5 this afternoon.
