Mother in City hospital

Hey Marty--we are still praying for your mother at our church. I'm glad to hear she is receiving good chaplain care at the hospital, but know this will be a long month for both of you. Does your mother have things to entertain her in the hospital? I know is can be VERY boring. Does she do internet things? Can we help in any way? Please post and let us know!! (Also--we are thinking of you, too, dear, in this difficult time. God's peace with you.)

Update: She's out of hospital for awhile but she can't come home. Aunt Fran is down there to stay with her until she goes back in for her second heavy treatment. Unfortunately the unit the hospital booked for their accomodation was all dirty and messed-up inside

Very bad management indeed but at least they could stay with friends of Fran's while the place is cleaned up.

I've been away for awhile since Aunt Fran has been down in Brisbane staying with mum while she's out of hospital and I have to stay over at Nan's since she doesn't like being alone at night and I can't get online till 11 pm.

But I'm home tonight since Uncle Robert is staying with her at least for one night. Hopefully mum will get a bed soon for her second major treatment and Fran will be able to leave her in hospital and come back to Nan. But she is still doing fine Thank you all so much for praying

I'm glad that your mom is out for now, and that even far away, she has plenty of friends and family to take care of her. I guess you don't know when she's going in next then?
I'm also glad she got some spiritual comfort. Her spiritual and emotional happyness are just as important as, and can certainly affect her physical success.
I'm sorry management is poor; I know that affects a lot. Hears hoping that gets better also!
