Hi, sorry I haven't replied, but I've been gone since yesterday. I'm so happy she's doing well, and I have full confidence that she will come through the next treatment at the end of this month perfectly! Hugs to both of you!

I'm so happy to hear that things are looking well, Marty! That's wonderful. And like Kate, I am sure that your Mom will come through the radium treatment with no problems at all. As always, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Everything's arranged for her to fly to the hospital with grandmother and aunt. The dog's going in a pet care center so I won't have to worry about him and I'm booked to spend the second week down there from 28th October to 3rd November.

Well she should be back down there by now. I pray her radium goes well.
I'll see her again in a fortnight's time when I go down to spend one week with her.

I've had a phone call from her earlier tonight.
She needs 20 treatments in all and she'll only have to stay down in Brisbane for 4 weeks and 1 day. So she should be about halfway through her radium when I go down on the 28th
