Pepe: Articles? Like de clothing?
Ryan: *rolls eyes* No, no. Like... the newspapers.
Pepe: Ah. Bo-ring, hokay! Why don't jou write somet'ing esciting? Somet'ing about Pepe!
Ryan: *smirk* Something like my fan-fic?
Pepe: Si, si! D'is works, hokay!
Ryan: Mmhm... and how much is Ed paying you if I write a new chapter?
Pepe: Well, es not money, hokay... es... Hey!
Ryan: *laughs* Nice try, Pepe. It's been great having you on, but we have this lovely consolation prize for you!

Kelly (hurries to interrupt): Bastions of fanfic writers. *elbows Hoggle* That was what you were gonna say, right?

(At the moment, it's just Erin and Nora, since the Fraggles have gone down to the Rock for a visit, and Scooter is off visiting family.)

Nora: (reading Vicar of Wakefield) Do you know when Scooter's going to be back?
Erin: (reading Tales from Earthsea) He called a little while ago and said he'd be coming in late. Pass the juice, please.
Nora: (handing over carton of orange juice) Here you go...it's been pretty quiet around here lately.
Erin: (pouring glass of juice) I guess that's the way it is in the summer. Everyone's gone off somewhere, or else it's just too warm to do anything.
Nora: So it's true what they say about mad dogs and Englishmen...
Erin: And reporters, too, don't forget us.
Nora: Speaking of which, did you sign on with that freelance writers' guild?
Erin: Yeah, Ryan's got a whole bunch of us together - I sent in a review for Street Gang, and now I want to do a tribute article on Richard. Problem is, what angle am I going to look at?
Nora: Good point...well, we're having his favorite drink, maybe that'll loosen the writer's block.

Kelly (mumbling): Took an actual nap ... felt sick ... when I ... woke up ... zzzzzzzzz.

Aw... *Faint laughter echoing in the halls. *Sends Kells some sweet dreams. *Closes door and slips back into his own world.

Kelly (wakes up to find Pearl's face in front of her): GAAAAH!

Pearl: You were right sufferin' last night, sugah. I hope you're feelin' better.

Kelly (throws a pillow at her): I WAS.

Pearl (laughs): Sorry. It's just we might get some extra traffic 'round the saloon this weekend, so I need everyone ready. 'Pin's settin' up displays with her other Doozer companions --.

Kelly (checks the clock): At six-thirty in the morning? *groans*

Pearl: Early ta bed an' early ta rise --

Kelly: Makes Kelly wanna serve you with fries.

Pearl (giggles): Anyhoo, Hoggle'll be managin' 'cause I'll be singin'.

Kelly: I hesitate to ask what I'll be doing. Can't it wait? I've got to finish up me an' Cait's story.

Pearl (sighs, rolls eyes): Oh, no, hon -- you're gonna go to work. An' this is what you're gonna do -- *whispers*
