Chapter Thirteen:
“All right, Maggie’s on her way,” said Kermit to Fozzie as he hung up the phone.
“Why is Maggie coming?” asked Fozzie.
“Maggie’s coming? She’s one hot…” started Clifford.
“Clifford not now! Besides, what about Skeeter?” said Kermit.
“Sorry man,” said Clifford.
“Anyway, Maggie’s got Gobo with her,” said Kermit.
“Who?” asked Fozzie.
“All right, all right, let’s have a quick meeting with everyone before we start our search party. I’ve got some catching up to do with everyone I guess,” said Kermit throwing his hands up in frustration.
“I’ll get everyone seated in the theatre Boss,” said Scooter.
“Great, we don’t have much time to waste,” said Kermit.

Down in Fraggle Rock Mokey was getting worried. It had been a couple of days since Red had run away and Gobo had left to find her. She thought they would’ve been back by now.
She was sitting with Boober and Wembley and Lou by the Sparkling Creek in the Cavern of the Sparkling Lilies. They were dangling their feet in the water.
“What if Gobo never finds Red?” Mokey voiced her fears out loud.
“I was wondering the same thing. What if Gobo never comes back?” said Wembley. Lou squeezed his hand.
“Oh come on you guys, this is Gobo! He’ll find her! And Red, she’s a fighter, she’ll be all right,” said Boober, though he didn’t sound too certain.
The two couples huddled closer together and silently wished that their other friends could be there with them and would come back soon.

“All right, the reason I’ve called you all here is because of our special visitor Red,” said Kermit.
“Red? Who’s Red?” asked Rowlf.
“She’s a Fraggle!” exclaimed Robin.
“I thought she was red,” said Beauregard.
“She’s a Fraggle whose name is Red all right?” said Kermit. He could see he was going to have to work hard to keep crowd control. He then went into her story, going all the way back to when he and Robin found the Fraggle hole at Fozzie’s mom’s house. He told them about how Red ran away and ended up at the swamp. Then he told them about her and Gobo.
It was so silent in the theatre a pin drop could’ve been heard. Floyd squeezed Janice’s hand. Rowlf put his arm around Wanda. Camilla clucked at Gonzo. Even Kermit met Piggy’s gaze.
Scooter spoke first. “All right, let’s find that Fraggle!”
Everyone cheered and then awaited further instruction. Kermit divided the group into a couple of search parties. He sent Fozzie to the train station to wait for Maggie and Gobo. He asked Scooter and a few others to stay at the theatre in case Red came back. Then, everyone went off on their assignments.

Gobo nervously twitched in his seat on the train. He was a little afraid of the train but he didn’t want to tell Maggie that.
“Oh shoot!” exclaimed Maggie suddenly.
“What?” asked Gobo.
“I didn’t tell anyone where we were going! What if some more of you creatures show up in our swamp?” asked Maggie.
Gobo laughed. “Most of the Fraggles are not as adventurous as I am, not even Red,” said Gobo and then explained to Maggie a little more about the world of Fraggle Rock. He told her about his Uncle Matt.
“Wow, Gobo, you are really brave,” said Maggie when he finished. Gobo blushed.
“Thanks,” he said.
“As soon as we get to Hensonville we will find Red and then we will get the two of you back to Fraggle Rock,” said Maggie.
“That sounds great,” said Gobo.

Red slept fitfully squished in by the garbage can. She awoke with a start. Night had really fallen now and it was dark and a little scary. She heard strange sounds all around her.
“Dance your cares away,” she sung nervously.
Meanwhile, a few feet away an older gentleman was walking with his dog. He was returning to his niece’s house where he was staying for a little while. Suddenly the dog jerked forward and pulled the man over to the side of the house.
“Worries for another day,” Red continued to sing.
“Woof!” barked the dog approaching her. At first Red was scared and shut her eyes until she heard a familiar voice.
“What did you find here Sprocket?” said the man.
