Yeah... A great chapter. Using that song by the Carpenters, nice.
Kermit picking Red at the train station, he'll have to explain a lot lest she get swept up in the chaos at the theater.
Gobo following the Doozersticks up the tree to the nest and finding Red's bag...

Wait, you're moving? And getting married?!? Aw man, we'll have to brak out the penguins and start practicing Somebody's Getting Married.
You've got until May 27th to get the penguins in shape  Getting excited though!

Congratulations on getting married!!!

This story just keeps getting better and better. The song was a wonderful idea and I could really hear all of them singing it. Can't wait to see the next chapter.

Awesome chapter, Beth, awesome chapter. Lots of good stuff, but I've gotta say... You caught me off guard, and thus, stabbed me, with this right here.

She kind of remembered Kermit now that she saw him, but it had been a really long time. He also sounded a little different than she remembered.

You noticed!!! No one else picked up on that! The reference of course is, when Kermit meets the Fraggles in MFC, it's Jim. Well, I always picture my stories as movies and so I just figured it would be Steve doing Kermit now! So, maybe it's a little crazy, but I thought I'd throw it in there.

And you noticed Lisa! You rock!

Uh... Can I just say I noticed but didn't say anything at the time?
*In Jon Lovitz voice: Yeah... That's the ticket.

Seriously, glad someone caught it... Hope you're OK Beth.

Oh wow, what a coincidence! I had forgotten about your wedding to be honest. My cousin is getting married in June, and we just went to her shower today. As my mom would say, "How cool is that?"
As always, I love the story, and I caught the refference right away! Vary clever!

Well... Now that I posted an update, hopefully it'll trigger a chain reaction and get Beth and Sara inspired to continue their own stories... Please?

Here's a shorty, mostly meant to help the plot keep moving along. It will be getting more intense very soon!

Chapter Ten:

Gobo sat down and thought about what could have happened to Red. “She had to have been here because I know this is her bag!” he thought. He was so deep in thought he didn’t notice the bird returning to its nest.

He stood up. “Maybe if I just climb down the tree I’ll find another clue,” he said as he backed up and backed right into the bird’s foot.

“What is this?” he said and turned around.

“Caw!” cawed the bird.

“Ahhh!!!” screamed Gobo and turned around to run. He climbed out of the nest as the bird chased him cawing.

“What do I do now?” he thought but did not have long to stop as the bird was right on his back. He ran to the edge of the branch that hung over the creek.

“I guess I don’t have a choice!” he thought and without a second glance back he jumped off the branch into the water below. The bird missed him by seconds.

As he fought his way to the surface he looked for anything he could grab onto. He found a log and climbed on top of it.

“Hey, maybe this will lead me to Red! She loves water!” he thought even though he couldn’t put out of his mind the possibility that the bird could have done to her what it tried to do to him. He decided to stay positive. Red was a fighter, she had to be somewhere.

Kermit led Red into the Muppet Theatre and took her backstage doing his best to answer all her questions along the way.

“Kermie, who this following vous around?” asked Miss Piggy.

“Piggy this is Red Fraggle, she’s going to be staying with us for awhile,” said Kermit.

“Red’s here! Yippie!” exclaimed Robin joining the group and running over to Red.

“Hi Red! Remember me?” said Robin.

Red smiled at the young frog that bore a resemblance to his cousins at the swamp.

“Yes, I do remember you. I just met some frogs who are related to you,” said Red.

“I know! I think it’s so cool that you’re here! Would you like to play with me?” asked Robin.

“Robin! She just got here, give her some time to breathe!” exclaimed Kermit.

Red had been feeling very down upon her arrival to the theatre but when she heard Robin say the word “play” she perked up. Maybe they could play games the way she used to with her friends down in the Rock.

“It’s ok Kermit, it would be nice to play,” said Red.

“Well, I’ve got a few things to take care of. Why don’t you guys play for awhile and then I’ll come back and we can talk some more about your situation,” said Kermit.

“All right!” exclaimed Robin. Red smiled. She liked this young frog. She let him lead her away to play some games just outside the theatre.

“Kermie, do you think this is a good idea?” asked Piggy once they were out of earshot.

“Piggy, you know we need to help those who need it. She met my family and they said she needed help. So, we’re going to give it to her,” said Kermit.

“What kind of help does she need?” asked Piggy.

“I’m not exactly sure, but she ran away from home. I’m going to talk to her later and see why she left and maybe figure out if she wants some help to go back there. Think of when we’ve had our own friends run away Piggy. Someone has always come along to help them. Now we can help someone else,” said Kermit.

“I suppose you’re right mon capitain,” said Piggy.

“Good, thanks for understanding,” said Kermit. Then he went to take care of some logistics for the show so he could later give his undivided attention to Red.

In Fraggle Rock Boober was cooking some supper for himself and Mokey.

“Do you think Gobo has found her yet?” asked Mokey.

“I sure hope so. If anyone can, Gobo can,” said Boober.

“Yeah, he’s so brave,” said Mokey.

“Well, um, I can be brave too. I dropped some laundry the other day and I didn’t even wash it again,” said Boober sounding jealous.

“Oh Boober, don’t worry. I like you just the way you are,” said Mokey smiling.

“Good,” said Boober and turned back to the dinner.

Gobo was actually enjoying his ride on the log. It was very lazy. He even sat back and started strumming his guitar a little bit. He was doing just that when the water started becoming murky and emptying into the swamp.

The young frogs, Ed and Lisa were playing together when they heard the guitar music.

“Hey Lisa! It’s music!” said Ed.

“Sounds like something Uncle Kermit would play!” said Lisa and they hopped over to check it out.

Gobo was lost in thought playing his guitar and had not even noticed the log coming to a stop.

“Look Ed! It’s another Fraggle!” exclaimed Lisa when they came upon Gobo.

“Here we go again,” said Ed.
