Eh, ain't my life, who am I to judge? Plus, I know a few young couples who have terrible relationships with their parents, so moving out just made a lot of sense.

I've known that for a while now. Apparently the whole concept of Pokemon was inspired by his childhood hobby of collecting bugs.
That . . . explains a lot.
Are you implying that's a good or a bad thing?
(Sorry, I just get very defensive of autistic people.)

Neither, actually. But the Pokemon franchise has a ton of details to keep track of, which is something I've noticed people on the spectrum are really good at.

Yeah, that makes sense.

I've also noticed that autistic people tend to keep very detailed documents and lists of things, which probably has something to do with the Pokedex in each game.
