Did Bob, Maria, Luis and David ever have last names. I know eventually that eventually sometime in the SS run Susan and Gordon became S & G Robinson (I think). And Mr Hooper I think became Mr Harold Hooper. What about the rest above that I just mentioned?

I never heard of David's last name being Robinson. That would imply that he was related to Gordon. The Sesame Unpaved book only listed him as "David" and I thought he left the show before they started giving everyone a last name.

No, I'm pretty sure David's last name is Robinson, but I don't think Northern Calloway played for the San Antonio Spurs!

Also... It should properly be María Figueroa Rodríguez.
Hope this helps.

Didn't we already have a thread like this?

Anyway, according to Sesame Street Unpaved (the book), David has no last name. He's just David. DAVID! (Sorry, Cow and Chicken reference there)

I've read on a Wikipedia article that Bob McGrath played Bob Johnson. I don't think that's right though.

I think Wikipedia (usually a reliable source) goofed there. Bob's character on SS is very similar to his real-life self right down to his Celtic origins, I have a tape of him singing an Irish lullaby to Big Bird to help him fall asleep. Also in a more modern ep he introduces a Muppet friend of his named Scotty McGillicuddy (sp please).

Oh... You're talking about an episode towards the end of Season 35. The name of the bagpipe player, voiced by Jerry Nelson, is Scottie McKilt.
Hope this helps.
