Okay, I just read through a whole debate on late night talk show hosts (zzzzzz) so I almost forgot what I was going to say. ;-)

It was definitely a late night show...

Kermit The Frog quotes you just don't hear on Sesame Street:

"Kind of one of those ******* things"
"I've lusted in my heart"
"Porn is Fine"
"I think I might have just wet your leather here"
"I try not to be nasty and dirty..."

I got bleeped!

Hilarious! My last post got Bleeped! I didn't put those ******* - I was edited. LOL! Of course, Kermit was referencing how frogs dodging trucks was a sport like those stupid stunts represented in a recent movie that begins with a "Jack" and ends with "*ss".

Wow! Kermit is back. Okay, he did seem nervous and made that unfortunate comment that made him seem like he supported porn, but he really held his own and kicked some froggy butt. But he didn't pinch any butt no matter what Sarah said. LOL!

I remember watching Arsenio Hall some time back when Jim Henson was on. He puts on Rowlf and Arsenio says, "Hey, Rowlf!" and Rowlf says, "Arsenio....! Son of a *****!" The audience went "Whoaaa..." and Rowlf says, "No, no! It's a compliment when it's from a dog!"

Saw Kermit on Late, Late Show......

And I remembered why I don't watch the late shows!
I happened to be up and thought I'd check it out, but was sorely disappointed. I can't believe the Henson company would let their characters say stuff like what Kermit said on the show. And Sarah Silverman and Craig Kilborn didn't help much either. They both had some very disgusting comments and jokes about the Muppets that I really didn't need to hear. True, Kermit did at least sound like Kermit, and he did say that he does try to keep his language clean, but...
There were some off-color jokes that I don't think Kermit should have been making. As he said, kids don't need to hear him say t hat stuff, they can watch Craig. (sad, but true)

Anyway, the good part was they did show a brief preview of the new movie and Kermit singing a very abridged version of The Rainbow Connection.

"Porn is fine."

That was the highlight of my sleepless night.

(I live a sad little life. But at least I have fun with it)

We know what you meant, Lynette. I heard that. But now, Murgatoad got me interested in something. I would like to have seen that show where Rowlf the Dog was on with Arsenio Hall and said "Son of a b*****." I mean, if you can get a download of Porky Pig saying that, why not Rowlf? Lol.

the show

Yeah Kermit did sound particularily good then...I really don't care for Sarah Silverman...why did the show have to be so dirty? It really should have been cleaner and the jokes funnier...but Kermit is DEFINETLY BACK...also I really didn't think the clip from the new movie looked good...but everything else I've heard is fantastic!
