Cool thread, no idea it ever existed. I'll have to do some of these.

But to start, since I'm not in a creative mood, I'll repost a set of recasts I did for another thread on the forum:

The Dick Van Dyke Show
Rob Petrie - Kermit
Laura Petrie - Miss Piggy
Richie Petrie - Robin
Buddy Surell - Fozzie
Sally Rogers - Rowlf (couldn't come up with a female Muppet for the role :stick_out_tongue:)
Mel Cooley - Sam
Alan Brady - J.P. Grosse

ROFL!!!!!!!

I'm not a Muppet, but I am deeply honored!  And maybe Phil and Cindy could be the Ropers, then you could Mr. Furley. LOL!

But wait a minute---Jack never got to have anything beyond platonic fun with his roomies---dang it! :frown:

*sigh*

Oh, well...ya know, we did this on the Delphi forum and had a LOT of shows done, but it'll be fun to see some again (I cast most of mine in my college Geology class, lol).
Well, if we're going with Muppet forum members, that would make me Larry. Hey, then I'd have better luck with women.

Jerry-Kermit
Elaine-Miss Piggy
George-Fozzie
Kramer-Gonzo

Hmmm... that wasn't as fun as I thought it would be..
Maybe that's because they already did something similar on "Muppets Tonight!" They probably should have used Kermit, Piggy, etc. for that since puppet versions of MB do really exist.

Okay. Let me try one.

Boy Meets World

Cory: Kermit
Topanga: Miss Piggy
Shawn: Gonzo
Eric: Fozzie
Morgan: Annie Sue
Mr. Feeny: Waldorf or Statler
Mr. & Mrs. Matthews: Wayne and Wanda
Mr. Turner: Pepe

I won't get into the later-added characters (Jack, Rachel, etc.) now. I'll start with that, then I'll try to think up some other ideas.

I want to see what you guys can come up with for the sitcom called "Big Bang Theory"

I bet Bunsen & Beaker would fit in just nicely!

The Addams Family (Original 1964 series)
Gomez Addams- Kermit
Morticia Addams- Miss Piggy
Wednesday Addams- a younger Annie Sue
Pugsley Addams- Robin
Uncle Fester- Gonzo
Grandmama- Hilda
Lurch- Rowlf (He was the only one I could think of. Plus Lurch plays harpsichord; Rowlf plays piano. Bingo!)
Cousin Itt- Beaker
Thing- Walter's hand (I think it'd be really funny if they used a Muppet hand for thing. I mean any hand, but Walter's was the first one that kinda...came to mind)
Ophelia Frump (Morticia's sister)- Spamela Hamderson
Hester Frump (Morticia's mother)- Mildred Huxtetter
Sam Hilliard (the truant officer)- Sam Eagle (What a coincidence!)
