I can't think of a specific childhood figure, though at one time the rare moments when Gorgon Heap ate other muppets during season one of TMS did freak me out.

I think I've said this before, but the Weimarainers on SS. I mean, to a four year old, it can be pretty disturbing to see a dog with human hands. Now I think its a great sketch (do they still do it? It's been a while since I watched SS)
