As to the Elmo subject..... I wont touch it, Ive done it before, and thats enough.
My main problem is not Elmo, but kevin Klash... (see I cant help myself... really Im done, Im pushing reply right...... noW!!!!)

Yeah and plus, what do you mean there wouldn't be Sesame Street without Elmo, I mean he hasn't joined the cast in his Elmo voice until 1985, I think it wouldn't be SS without characters like Big Bird, or Cookie, or Oscar, or Ernie and Bert, and why, because they actually teach us.
