Good wholesome American fun? Like karaoke? Or yelling at refs for making bogus calls like the doof from the US-Slovenia game last Friday.
Meh... Maybe he'll like next week's MuppetCast, I hear it might be a salute to all nations, but mostly America. :stick_out_tongue:

Delilah: Okay, how about karaoke then?

Aly: *starts singing* Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl...

Maggie: *howling* Make it stop! Make it stop!

Sam:
*turns off karaoke machine*

Aly: Alright...*thinks of another wholesome American pastime* How about making prank calls?

Delilah:
*grabs cell phone and opens address book*

Storyteller: Telescope?
Scooter: Check.
Storyteller: Star guide?
Erin: Check.
Storyteller: Big pitchers of lemonade and blueberry tisane?
Nora: Check.
Storyteller: Boxes of cookies?
Beige: Check with a capital C.
Storyteller: Quilt?
Erin: That's you.
Storyteller: Lovely. To the roof, everyone.

(sometime later, gang is sprawled on the rooftop, eating cookies, drinking lemonade and tisane, and looking up at the sky)

Nora: (lying back on quilt, glass in hand) Mmm...you can actually get a breeze up here...even with the A/C in good form it can get kind of stuffy inside.
Storyteller: That's the spring fever talking - ooh, look at all the fireflies.
Scooter: (squinting through telescope) Okay, which one's that big pointy one up there?
Erin: Does it have legs or is it lying flat?
Scooter: Legs.
Erin: Okay, it's probably Ursa Major.
Beige: Unless it's Fozzie doing an act. Then it'd be Ursa Snoozer.
Scooter: Gee, Beige, have you been taking lessons from Statler and Waldorf?
Beige: Oh, come on, you said it yourself about his monologue on War and Peace. Is there any lemonade left?

*Posts a note on the bulletin board, sending out the message to the other townhouse, along with placing a couple of calls to a few people who live in the off-campus apartments...

If you wanna join me and my roomies at the local burger joint for some food and fun, you're welcome to tag along.

:batty: So vhere's this burger joint? Certainly not the big Double E?
Me: No, not there, nor Friendly's either. Mmm, not sure actually. The Rock & Roll Deli has good sandwiches, though I'm not sure if they can fit us all.
UD: Not McDonald's?
Me: No... Sadly, they've lost what appeal they once had to me, I prefer BK nowadays.
:batty: Vhat about the Fuddspooker's at the HV mall?
Me: Hey, yeah. But do they have, you know...
UD: Yes, they have an arcade and ballpit/cargo net ladder wall/zipline slide area.
Me: Hexcellent, let's go!
*Grabs shades and wallet and climbs into the Countmobile ready to meet up with whatever friends show up, if any.

Delilah: Quick! We must counteract this sparkly vampire stuff with something else!

Aly: I have a Haunted History episode on New Orleans. Will that help?

Maggie: Great! That should work perfectly!

Sam: I dare not ask why you girls are obsessed with something as unwholesome as the supernatural.

Maggie: But what's more American than sitting around a campfire telling ghost stories?

Delilah:
*eyes glued on TV* Guys, can we go to the Myrtles Plantation tomorrow?

Maggie: *puppy dog eyes*

Aly:
*half-reluctantly* Okay, fine.

Delilah: Yay! And tomorrows a full moon...;-)

Aly: *nervously* Um...Let's not go at night...Daylight would be fine, though.
