In response to the thread title:

Oh, yes. He has, indeed. Even if I was to throw the Oprah moment aside (which I do), he's gone nuts. There was the whole "Brooke Shields is irresponsible" thing (she took drugs to combat her post-partum depression, come on!); there's the water-squirting incident; there's his monotone and standardized answers on talk shows ("Yes, I'm very much into communication. I like to communicate. I like to talk to people. I talk to everyone. Talking is important."). The man has turned insane. Or, as we Newfies say, "not all there."

Oh man!!! It is so funny that this was brought up because it is exactly what I was thinking last night when I was flipping through the channels on tv and came across him on Oprah (and I don't watch Oprah, but I could not help but be sucked in to this interveiw). The man is bonkers. I can't even believe it. I watch him and I am stone faced. My "what the **** is he doing" face was plastered on for a good 5-10 minutes. Why is he so obnoxious? And kinda phony too. And if he wasn't mediocre, Oprah certainly was almost as bad in the way she responded to him. I actually felt like I was watching an SNL skit.

Actors with megalomanic personas, shouldn't be paid attention to;you never know when they are acting and when they are being truthful. If Tom Cruise had all the facts to back up his arguments,he would have stated them up front;instead of acting bigger than Matt Lauer.Cruise is such a defensive sort;I wish at 42 he would start being a man.His relationship with Holmes is just for show. When I watched him on the Oprah Show,he was acting like a kid in a candy store;that was on a sugar fix. Tom's ego is just the root of his problems.Third time won't be a charm for him, until he gets over himself. He doesn't know what he wants, except to have attention fall upon him.He says he's straight-forward,no holds barred & tells it like it is;that's fine,I wish he would take some of his own advice.

Plus,he wants Katie to convert to Scientology, for what? He can't marry her, unless she converts?I thought love was unconditional.I guess in Scientology, they both have to be a part of it. When their relationship doesn't work out, she'll be stuck with Scientology(just rambling here). Is she doing this for him or for herself?

I don't get this whole thing myself, guess I never will.

Oh Tommy boy, oh Tommy boy. What happened to you with in the last few months. Is this an act, or is this real? Did your brain go bye bye or is in sleep mode? Really, no one wants to see an idiot jumping up and down on a couch. I'm surprised he didn't rip off his shirt while jumping on that chair with Oprah and say "me Tarzan, Tom Cruise gone bye bye."
