Well, the thing I love about birthdays in our family is that they tend to last for a full weekend! Today my uncle took my aunt, my mom and I out to the Cracker Barrel for lunch. For desert I ordered strawberry shortcake, and at my uncle's request they put a candle in it and sang. I was expecting the candle, but I wasn't expecting the staff to sing and it made me blush a bit.
Then later my mom and I had a light dinner as we ate so much at the restaurant. After dinner she surprised me with yet another cake!

So, that was my birthday weekend in review.

Haha! No problem. I just thought I'd reference the fact that you are the only person here that I've actually met. I just wish we could have spent more time visitting with each other. Actually, wasn't it about this time last year that we met? Maybe it was a little later in the month. Anyway, glad you had such a great birthday.

Yes! I'm getting married this September, and we're hoping to move out to New York sometime next year.
