I just thought I'd share with all of you the news that
Dick Van Dyke turns the big 8-0 today, Dec 13th!

I swear this man will live to be 100+
A great showman with non-stop-flowing wholesome energy inside a very big heart!

Did he ever do anything with the Muppets?
I can't recall, but someone let us know -
-If not, he should have!

I guess movies like Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
bring out the comical 'MUPPET' that's inside every one of us - -

Dick - if you're reading this, have a great 80th birthday and God bless you always!

Happy happy birthday!! I love him, especially in "Mary Poppins." He's so fun and sweet and all-around groovy. Haven't seen that much of him lately, but he's terrific. (His brother Jerry is pretty cool too.)

^ that's been happening to me alot lately!

Wow, I had no idea he was still living...I'm right now, I knew he was alive last year, but that was early last year, and it seems like a long time ago too.
Well, happy birthday Rob Petri!

Happy birthday, DVD! Hey, I wonder if the DVD show is on DVD? heh heh

The Dick Van Dyke show was never quite as appealing to me as my favorite classics such as "Andy Griffith", "Green Acres" and "I Love Lucy". But it was a good show. Loved Rob Petri's nasal voice and energetic antics. Also loved Morey Amsterdam's Buddy character and voice.
That's neat he is 80 today. Dehhhh dehhhhhh deh deh deh deh DEH deh ... deh DEH deh ... deh DEH deh ... deh deh deh deh deh deh deh deh deh deh DINT DUM!

And speaking of Morey Amsterdam, just read that his birthday is tomorrow. He died back in '96 though at age 87.
