I've wanted to forever, but...........

Giving blood is something I have wanted to do forever; after all, with all the blood samples I've had to give over the years, due to my Epilepsy, I'm a pro at it by now. I'm also O+ for blood type, which, in normal circumstances, would be able to be received by mostly anyone. Unfortunately, though, the people who take donations won't let me do it for fear I'll start "seizing" on them. I know they have to take safety precautions, but when giving blood doesn't bother me, and I also have a type like O+, always being turned away makes you feel pretty useless sometimes.:sympathy:

At our highschool they just recently had a blood drive.

When I am older... as much as I would want too... I freak out even if you say anything about health. I almost passed out during health class once.

I don't think I'm supposed to give blood because I take medication for my ADD, so i never really have.

I can't give blood because of the same reason as BEAR. I take medication, but to control my seizures.
(I have deep veins anyway)

there was one kid at my school who wasn't allowed to give blood, because during the little interview part (where they ask you a bunch of questions to make sure you're blood's not infected) he sniffled a few times, so they wouldn't take his blood, even though he felt healthy
