reticulated foam Is really expensive! if u cover just regular polyfoam with fleece or other material It will last quite a bit longer with no sun or heat damage . So I'm not sure the reticulated foam is the way to go.... unless you making a puppet for a film shoot .
About the patterns being to expensive, there worth every penny and more , And that's the truth!!! so save up or borrow to get them It will be well worth it !
