She is? (Screams in excited, Piggyish way.) Aaaaaaaahhhh! She is! Bouncy bouncy, yay, yay, yay!
LIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!
(gasp, pant) Okay, I'm calm now. (giggles)
Oh, Ed, that's great news! You have a lot of faith in my ability to resist Lisa's writing. I've read it all through more than once in the last six weeks. You have penetrated my careful disguise and figured out how much I like frog/pig cuddling. Drats! There goes my evil plan. You're right though, I've more or less (more more than less) been waiting for that particular scene since I started reading this story.
My reaction was certainly not excited in the least. Nope. (Sam voice) I have far to much dignity to skip around like a little girl, shrieking with joy.
Yep.
Well, maybe just one more. SQUEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!
Life is good.
And so, review, part the second.
Yup. 27.
Not until after you meet Piggy anyway, Kermit. I like him flirting and getting his confidence back. He’s getting back to the frog we knew and it’s nice to see. I like their banter. I also like Penny’s name.
Ooh, Nigel! And the other pilot, the one I’ve seen! (Is excited.) I like your description of that episode. Very funny… and accurate.
Yippee! I’m caught up!
And at long last… (I really shouldn’t quote this whole thing… but I love it all!)
The description of the scene, of Piggy, Kermit’s reaction, it’s all so great! (And what a tease to leave us with!) I’m really glad you had Kermit be instantly attracted to her. I know a lot of people don’t like her, and thus the pairing, but for all the time they drive each other crazy… well, you know where I’m going with this, and Ru is far more eloquent on this subject.
(Just a little nag!)

Chapter Twenty-Seven
Yup. 27.
A little harmless flirting won’t hurt, he thought.
Not until after you meet Piggy anyway, Kermit. I like him flirting and getting his confidence back. He’s getting back to the frog we knew and it’s nice to see. I like their banter. I also like Penny’s name.
“Well basically, we’re just going to take a bunch of clips, put ‘em together in no real order, and call it a pilot,” the Muppet explained.
Ooh, Nigel! And the other pilot, the one I’ve seen! (Is excited.) I like your description of that episode. Very funny… and accurate.
Yay!!! I also really enjoy how you blend together the muppets and the performers, it’s really interesting! And the band’s got a gig, whoo!“Oh sure, you know Dave Goelz finally joined the company,” Nigel said.
Heh heh, I love Animal. The pews had all been cleared out, and there was a counter to the left. Something red jumped up from behind it. “FROGGY!”
Oh, hey! Nice call back to Kermit’s line from forever ago! I also like Clifford’s “show business ain’t for me” line.“Well, you know how I mentioned that we’re shooting another pilot?”
“You know how I mentioned that I still don’t think that’s legal?”
Heh, I like the lead up to Kermit’s line in that segment, and what a simple yet effective way of changing Harry’s name!A moment’s hesitation. “Well, um, I might be able to get you a job on an educational show for kids.”
Yay! The Muppet Movie! And the Rainbow Connection! Oh, it’s so neat how you’re sewing all this together. I can’t imagine how much planning all this takes! But the quiet bliss that came at the end of a good song was interrupted by- “HELP, HELP! This is a serious call for help.”
Chapter Twenty-Eight
Yippee! I’m caught up!
Ooh, and Doc Hopper too! Scary!Jim rubbed his temples. “A man named… Doc something… Jumper, Leaper… Hopper, that’s it. Doc Hopper. He keeps calling, wants to know if you’ll do commercials for his frog leg restaurants.”
Oh, that’s lovely. I can’t smile any harder, it makes my cheeks hurt.Kermit hesitated. “You mean- I’ll lead the way to Hollywood?”
Heh, that’s hilarious! I love that line!Kermit huffed and puffed as he slowed to a stop on the side of a dark street. “Sheesh,” he said. “What in the world made me think I could make this trip on a bicycle?”
Ah! That’s even better! I love that sketch, it’s so funny and great for their characters too. Fozzie! Bounce, bounce! He turned his attention to the poor excuse of a stage. “Good grief,” he said, “The comedian’s a bear!”
I love how Kermit comes to his rescue, and I’ve always loved Fozzie’s lines here. They’re just so sweet and hopeful and, I don’t know, Fozzie-ish. I like how you slightly change their escape. You’re really doing a great job at that… ‘sort of approximately how it happened.’“Oh, wait, please. Please wait. I’m trying so hard. Please don’t do that…”
Kermit made his way towards the stage. Saying please wouldn’t work with this crowd, even if they could have heard him over the boos. They needed to see something.
“I’m a professional! I’ve had three performances! Please!”
So sweet! Lisa I missed you!“The comedian,” Kermit said.
Fozzie’s eyes lit up. “Really?”
“No, but you looked like you could use a compliment,” Kermit said. “I’m actually on my way to Hollywood.”
Another thing I’ve always liked about Fozzie is the way he calls Kermit sir.“No thanks,” Kermit said. He turned to walk away. “Come on, Fozzie.”
“Yes sir!”
It’s hard to think of anyone forgetting Gonzo. I’m glad to see him again, along with Camilla, and you combine that pleasure nicely with that awful billboard.“Kermit!” The weird blue guy hurried to Kermit’s window. “Kermit, I’m glad you’re here! Do you remember me?”
Oh, that’s perfect! Ooh, I wanna hug the bear.“I- of course I remember you Gonzo. Fozzie, this is the Great Gonzo, Gonzo this is my friend Fozzie.”
“Friend…” Fozzie repeated quietly. Something inside him swelled.
And at long last… (I really shouldn’t quote this whole thing… but I love it all!)
Kermit caught his breath. He did not realize he was staring.
The description of the scene, of Piggy, Kermit’s reaction, it’s all so great! (And what a tease to leave us with!) I’m really glad you had Kermit be instantly attracted to her. Dun dun DUN! Ah, I love this so much! I’m completely excited to see what happens next! This really is the Muppet Fanfic to end all fanfics, Lisa, I hope you realize that… I also hope it doesn’t of course. You’re doing a great job, keep it up… soon? She was beautiful, she looked like an angel, she was absolutely gorgeous, she…
She was looking straight at him.
(Just a little nag!)
