I did see Kermit, Sal, two others and Sweetums on a week of Family Fued with Louie Anderson. The Muppets were playing against The Dixie Chicks and friends

Henson and a white lion sounds like the Jim Henson Hour to me. That lion was used in the episode of the Storyteller called "The True Bride," by the way.
