Episode 406 has one letter sponsor: D, but it has a segment about the letter E: E for Enter and Exit.
Maybe it's more because of the opposite pairing of Enter and Exit being featured on the episode.

Episodes 2843 and 3088, despite being sponsored by 10, had They Can't Take That Away from Me, a song about the number 0. Multiple other non-0-sponsored Sesame Street episodes after Season 19 also incorrectly had They Can't Take That Away from Me.
Including Episode 2496, in which 4 was the number sponsor.

Also, the first three episodes that featured the "Hello, Sammy" segment with Carol Channing - a segment about the letter S - were apparently sponsored by D, K, and 5 (Episode 1951); N, O, and 9 (Episode 2006); and c, d and 9 (was it 2030?) respectively. All subsequent airings of that segment were in episodes sponsored by S.

Most episodes that had the Joe Raposo song "J Jump" did not have the letter J as a sponsor. If my math is correct, only three of the episodes that featured that segment had J as a sponsor (including the first two airings, and Episode 839).

Episode 676 had "Sand A/a" despite that the letter A was not a sponsor. The background on that segment was red. The episode was brought to you by Q, U, and 12.

Ten episodes earlier, Episode 666 (the Season 6 premiere) had the "Dialing for Prizes Movie" segment, which was a letter F segment - that episode was brought to you by e and 2.

The initial appearance of Monsterpiece Theater: Much Ado About Nothing, which was a number 0 segment, was in a 17-sponsored episode (2991) of Sesame Street. The two subsequent airings of that segment were in 0-sponsored episodes.
