I had a dream about Hugga Wugga last night! I was watching the TMS Season One DVD (I think.....) with a friend. The scene we were watching had something to do with a band or MTV (I don't know), and I'm thinking 'Is this the episode with Hugga Wugga?' and then the band or MTV skit ends, and on come Hugga Wugga! But Hugga has a big plywood cutout for a face. He still has the pipe-like snout, but the cutout has yellow eyes with red pupils! I soon realize that Hugga Wugga isn't so scary after all . When I woke up, that was a big lie...

Two nights ago, just before my alarm went off, I dreamed that I was interviewing Jerry Nelson. I asked him what it was like to work with Jim Henson. He said, "Working with Jim was always exciting. Each day we would make new discoveries, but we would also hope for some problems to arise, because those problems would lead us to new technological opportunities."
That does sound like something Jerry Nelson Would've Said!:smile::smile:

Last night, I had a dream, it wasn't primarily focused on the Muppets but it had a reference inside it that I definetely want to share. So I'm in Florida with my friend, and we're gonna a go to Disney World, but for some reason we don't. Anyway, we go to this theatre to watch an award show and there are these giant windows for walls. And when I look outside I see the Cinderella Castle... and a billboard promoting the Muppets! There were Muppets on the billboard and they looked mostly like they did from Season One of the Muppet Show, and the only writing there was was the Muppet Show logo. When I saw that in my dream I was so happy! It was cool to see that my dream.

Last night I dreamt I saw a deleted scene from The Muppet Movie, in which Sweetums catches up with the Muppets after Kermit's showdown with Doc Hopper. The other characters are getting on the bus to go to Hollywood, Sweetums shows up and is both excited to have caught up and exhausted from all that running, to the point that the bus leaves before he realises it, being left behind once again.

I also dreamt that I saw a promo for the upcoming video "Elmo's Travel Games and Songs", which showed some big surprise classic clip. And now I can't remember what the surprise is (I wonder if I could be psychic on this).

I dreamed that someone was working a Fozzie Muppet in a produce aisle of a supermarket. He looked like the version from the first season of the Muppet Show. It was crowded, so all I could see of the puppeteer was one arm, but he sounded like Frank Oz. When I spoke to Fozzie and he answered, he suddenly looked like a later version of himself.

Last night I dreamt of seeing a rather interesting appearance by the Muppets on a TV special from somewhere between 1977-78. I can't remember much of this special except that it had nearly every Muppet from both Sesame Street and The Muppet Show on there, and there was some female singer. The scene, set backstage in a theater (not the Muppet Theater), was a musical number that was a salute to some of the greatest musicals, and one by one, a Muppet would come in to assist said singer, but of course this being the Muppets, chaos and silliness were bound to erupt at any and every moment.

The Muppets I remembered seeing are as follows:

Big Bird

Ernie (playing a piano) and Bert (playing a ukulele)

Kermit

Mean Mama

Grover

Sweetums

The Count

Some Anything Muppet kids

Rowlf and assorted Muppet dogs

Cookie Monster, Luncheon Counter Monster, Herry, Frazzle, the green/yellow beaked monster (SS), Harvey Monster, Grey Monster (SS), and Harvey Monster all running amok; LCM nibbling on a piece of film reel, some explosions here and there, munching cookie noises, etc.

Beaker entangled by Snerfs

Guy Smiley

Swedish Chef dancing in Carmen Miranda wardrobe with bananas

Animal chasing a crocodile, and later on, being chased by the crocodile. Floyd, Zoot and Janice looking on in confusion.

The birds from the "For the Birds" sketch

Fozzie dancing in a hat and cane and Scooter telling him to watch out for the banana peel, which Fozzie slips on.

Male Whatnot Mexican hat dancers dancing to "America" from West Side Story and crashing into scenery

Camera then pans to a huge prop garbage can (with a lid like the one you'd see on trashcans in Britain) in which Oscar, wearing a viking helmet, emerges out of, attempting to sing an opera. But then Oscar forgets his lines and screws up, and goes back inside the can.

A few seconds later, Gorgon Heap slowly rises up from behind the trashcan, wearing a bowtie, and sings a (very) long note causing him to lose his breath that he faints, dropping his head on top of the lid in exhaustion. He then tells everyone to "cue the next number" and collapses onto the floor.

Then it cuts to Kermit and Piggy in the mountains, a la "The Sound of Music"

...at which point I awoke in reality and snapped out of my dream. All I can say is that it was kind of neat seeing this.

Nice dream. I could definetely see that having been made. Or being written as a fanfic here on the forums. Either way, it just sounds really good!

Wow...the musical tribute sounds fantastic!

I know I've been dreaming of Newsie lately but I can't recall anything upon waking except him smiling at me.
