About a week ago, I had a dream that the trope "Big Darn Movie" (darn is a substitute word) applied to Muppet Babies, which received its own epic theatrical movie sometime during the 1980's. Can't remember what the movie was about, other than it involved the main cast leaving Nanny's house (shades of The Rugrats Movie, I suppose).

I had a dream where Mario and Yoshi were with Poco Loco (the SS parrot) and they were all talking to various Simpsons characters such as Mr. Burns, Apu, Chief Wiggum, Mr. Smithers, and Krusty the Clown. I couldn't remember what they were all talking about but I did remember Mario, Yoshi, and Poco Loco turned their heads sideways confusingly when they didn't find the right answer from the Simpsons characters.

I had a weird dream last night where I was at a fancy restaurant with the Muppets . I was sitting next to Kermit and talking to him. But I knew I had move to a different seat quickly otherwise I'd get in trouble with Miss Piggy. So when I moved to a different table I saw a mini Miss Piggy! (not Baby Piggy from Muppet Babies ) It was like Miss Piggy had a daughter but not w/Kermit. (Weird huh?)

I had a dream where I was in a Las Vegas-esque place. There were green neon lights and it was a Muppet-themed hotel and casino. There, I was watching a Muppets special on a television monitor. It had a female, black-haired guest star singing with Muppets such as Kermit the Frog (in a black tuxedo), Gonzo, Camilla, Rowlf, and the Electric Mayhem. I went to one of the bars to drink green juice based on Kermit the Frog. It tasted like warm milk. There was also Miss Piggy perfume that was sold in a department store.

Last night I dreamt I was watching some family home movies from before I was born, and in going through old recordings found that my family just happened to have recorded a Sesame Street episode from season ten.

Among the segments in my dream: A segment based on My Mother the Car, but with the main character talking to live talking animals (I've never actually seen that show), which lead to a segment where the Sesame Street Muppets were mermaids (and my family left the room, apparently disgusted by mermaids), and a Monsterpiece Theater segment I had never heard of, with a title along the lines of "America...." something (I'm thinking "American Immaturity", even though that doesn't sound like a parody title). A few things of interest here: While the title card had the familiar blue background, the Monsterpiece Theater title was a different font (it looked like the title was drawn with a pink pen), after the opening Alistair Cookie just gave a quick and to-the-point intro ("And now, here's American Immaturity"...), followed by the camera panning across the room as all kinds of gag credits appeared (featuring parody names but so many were shown on-screen at such a fast pace it was hard to read them all... I think there was a "starring" credit for a Bill Murray parody name), and the intro took place in Alistair Cookie's room from Upstairs, Downstairs.

Last night I dreamt I was performing Big Bird in a theme park. Not a walkaround, but a stationary part of some attraction. I was completely intimidated by both the costume/puppet and the idea of trying to do a believable Big Bird when I am, not to put too fine a point on it, petite and weak of arm and not good at imitating the character's voice.

I fell asleep thinking about MMW and suddenly I was dreaming about this awesome action scene where Kermit is busting out of the gulag. If only it were to be in the film....It was pretty satisfying seeing Kermit knocking Constantine to the ground.

I had a fantastic dream last night where I was watching a promotional music video for the German release of Muppets Most Wanted on Youtube. The dialogue was spoken in English. The music was classical but it wasn't "Ode to Joy" that they were playing. This took place in a very large ice skating rink complete with a stage. The Muppets performing on the podiums during the music video include Fozzie Bear, Scooter, The Swedish Chef, Dr. Teeth, Janice, Zoot, the Chickens, the Penguins, Sam the Eagle, Lew Zealand, Beauregard, the Newsman, Crazy Harry, Link Hogthrob, Dr. Julius Strangepork, Lips, Annie Sue, Wayne, Wanda, Gloat, Mildred, George the Janitor, Brewster, Droop, Baskerville, Afghan Hound, Miss Mousey, Nigel the Conductor, Quongo, Blustering Bellowpane Monster, and Pokey. The first thing I remember is Miss Piggy in a silver dress skating on the ice with some female celebrity. When Fozzie Bear started to skate, he slipped. Statler and Waldorf were watching the stage from some cousins that were placed around the skating rink and made a joke of him. Kermit the Frog joined Miss Piggy and everyone else onstage as they ice skated and danced to the music. As the music video went on, there were more real-life people appearing onstage, making the music video more epic. There were marching bands, opera singers, pop singers, acrobats, clowns, ballerina dancers, robots, and anything you could ever think of onstage. The audience also increased, too. The dream ended with walk-arounds of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in a 16mm film print doing a pose on an ice skating rink.

That dream really made my night.

I dreamt that I got a copy of The Muppets Character Encyclopedia. Looking at an page of contents, I saw that at the beginning there were pages on a few non-Muppets: The Artist Formerly Known as Prince, Jim Henson, Frank Oz, Bob McGrath, Linda Bove, a few more people, and Emillio Degardo. I don't know why Prince would be there, especially listed first and even more especially listed before Jim Henson, and it's odd that some of the Sesame Street cast members were in the book.

Even weirder that inside the book, within the first few pages, there were a lot of DVDs in it (don't know how the book could have held those DVDs). The book had all of the movies, all five seasons of The Muppet Show (the season four cover was the same that had been shown in 2009, can't remember what the season five cover was like), and Fraggle Rock: The Complete Series Collection. Don't know why Fraggle Rock DVDs would be included, nor why they'd include the complete series boxed set but individual season sets for The Muppet Show (after all, it's every episode of both show... you could say that a complete series set didn't exist in the universe of that dream, but neither did boxed sets of the fourth and fifth season, outside of this book).
