And note that Elmo's father in "Beginnings" looks nothing like the character we've seen on SS.
There was some reasoning about that over at ToughPigs; they're from the mind of Dorothy, where everything looks like Elmo. Recent illustrations have used images of Elmo's pointy-nosed brown-haired dad (now in puppet form) and his (Elmo's) purple-haired orange mom.

And yeah, score one for getting Bill a Sesame character (the same goes for Leslie Cararra and Rickey Boyd).

It means that Bill Beretta performs the voices of Grover and Bert on Sesame Street.

Actually... Bill doesn't do those characters voices. The voices of Grover and Bert are both done by Eric Jacobson, Frank Oz's replacement.

Hey MD... Who's Ricki Boyd performing on SS?

Eric Jacobson has been performing both Bert and Grover since Frank Oz's absence.

Rickey's playing Cookie's Grandma in the Sesame Beginnings DVDs, and Leslie is Prairie Dawn's Mom. (And Tyler Bunch is Baby Cookie.)

Shucks! If Bill puppeteers a SS character, I'm all for checkin' this one out, even though I still loath the idea.
