I’ll be in for the next ten days. Fortunately I got plenty of food, stocked up on vitamins,,
The worst feeling is having no appetite, but last night I forced down some dry toast.
But this will pass. Now it’s my turn to wait it out.
So even getting vaxxed, it can still hit you. But the symptoms last year were a lot worse.

Can somebody please explain the logic behind some of these thinkings for me? If the COVID deniers believe all of this is a massive, elaborate, liberal hoax, or they don't believe the virus is as bad as it really is, if there even is a virus, then why do they keep turning to random other items to "prevent" or "cure" a virus they say we shouldn't even worry about or doesn't even exist? The fish tank cleaning solution? The horse medication? Now mouthwash? Seems like an awful lot of trouble to go through for something that's supposedly a hoax.

For the last time, I never thought it was a hoax.
If you’ll remember in March of last year. Fauci himself underestimated how severe this virus would be.
Also in case you forgot, that fish tank cleaner debacle was cooked up by that Trump- hating lady who made her husband take it. I’ll ask you for logic. If a lady puts no credence in anything Trump says, then why would she go against her own judgment and poison her husband and almost take her own life?
Where’s the logic in that?

Thurd, do you know who I got medical advice from? Not Trump. Not Biden. Not Fauci. But my own doctor. That makes sense, doesn’t it?

Wow. Anti-maskers and anti-vaxxers are seriously comparing this pandemic to the Holocaust and Jim Crow, and that they are somehow the Jews and Blacks who are being discriminated against? In a Cheesecake Factory no less? Wow. Just wow.

It's like I've said before in the politics thread: those who whine and cry about people being SJWs act more like SJWs than those they accuse of being SJWs.

So I’m getting my booster tomorrow and…. :sigh: Honestly I’m really not looking forward to feeling like absolute *** throughout my Saturday. And I just KNOW this medicine is going to completely increase my insomnia like it did last time.

But honestly, once it’s done, it’s done.

Yeah, so I’m already feeling a little drowsy tonight after getting my booster (and flu shot for that matter).

I guess we’ll just have to see how I am in the morning. 🤷🏿‍♂️

I guess it's worth noting that my county has just confirmed its first case of the Omicron variant . . . I don't know . . . honestly, the pandemic has driven me to this point:

Honestly this pandemic just made me a less talkative introvert in real life now if anything. 🤷🏿‍♂️

There’s a difference between contracting Onichron and dying from it.
It’s much more transmissible than Delta, but far less lethal.

But if you still insist on living paralyzed in fear, don’t let me stop you.

I’m not saying I’m living in fear; I go out when I absolutely have to. I just find myself not going out of my way to hang out with friends as much or even finding myself as much of a people person anymore with how half of population is only just contributing to this problem with the pandemic going on day after day after day.
