Just saw on the local news, there's a woman in my town who hasn't left her house in three weeks, has had very minimal human contact (only three random people), and has done everything right in terms of staying at home and social distancing . . . and she still contracted the virus!

Somehow, I get the feeling North Korea seems like it's still free of COVID-19 because they're simply not saying anything about it . . . I mean, this is North Korea we're talking about . . .

There is still some hope. As the weather gets warmer, the heat can help slow the virus down. Maybe not kill it, but helping put the brakes on.

Social distancing helps, but it also helps to get some fresh air and sunlight. Even if you don’t have a mask, a towel can help keep your mouth and nose covered.

Not very likely. Again, just in our state alone, Vanderbilt University (a very prestiguous university including a medical center that has produced some Nobel laureates) is projecting that we'll continue to see a rise in the spread of the virus and won't even see our peak until mid-June. Our weather has already been getting warmer, and it's so far done nothing to slow the progression of the spread.

But, then again, we also have the problem of ours being one of those southern states that aren't taking the threat of the virus as seriously as other states, where social distancing and isolation has become a way of life.

Well if Tennessee isn’t enforcing social distancing/masks/gloves/common sense, that’s to be taken up with your governor.

There is a fine line nobody knows how to cross yet. Do I want people back outside and back to work? Absolutely. But not at the risk of more people getting sick.

New Jersey/New York is still the epicenter of the virus. Our state has nine million people crammed into a state the size of a postage stamp.
Here the guidelines have to be strictly enforced. But in other parts of the country where the population isn’t so dense, maybe maybe MAYBE some areas can open up.
When this virus is over, I’m afraid masks and gloves might be a way of life for a while.
I don’t want to see casualties pile up, but we can’t afford to stay locked down forever either.

My two cents: I can’t stand James’ politics and I generally think the guy is a big pos. But I still love his acting performances (Hades sticks out for me), and I do give him props for at least trying his best to make a video on making a face mask out of cloth.
