I get there's some dodo brains out there who believe this is all just a big hoax and crap, but honestly, some people are acting like social distancing and staying at home is some kind of form of civil rights oppression or something.

In the end I still go out to at least get some food if need be.

I already have plans to buy some chocolate so I can stuff my face with it for Easter.

People did not act responsibly on their own. Then they didn't act responsibly when asked to. Then when it was mandated they still didn't. Now we are at a point where in some places the healthcare system is breaking (though, mostly in cities that were already over populated to start with).

In Philly a man was dragged off of a public bus for not wearing a mask. It is NOT a law that people must wear masks on public transit, or at all in public.

In Colorado a man was arrested for playing tee-ball with his 6 year old and his wife in a park (though technically he was arrested for failure to identify himself to police). He was released after 10 minutes of being in the patrol car.

In NYC a 33 year old woman punched an 86 year old woman in the head because the 86 year old woman was "getting too close" to the 33 year old in a hospital hallway. The 33 year old has a history of assaults.

Some states have deemed garden centers as non-essential. This means people were banned from buying vegetable seeds and plants to potentially start their own garden and grow some food in case things get worse. I have seen some opinions that say this is the state trying to control the food supply and keep people from being self reliant. I have seen other opinions that state this was a byproduct of governors not even thinking about people growing their own food and only thinking about flower gardens when they shut down garden centers.

In California there was a small group of looters arrested. They all had face masks on because they were afraid of getting sick while looting. Surprisingly, there have been very few cases of looting at this time. I guess when you fear gathering in groups it is hard to loot without getting arrested.

There are more of these insane stories coming out. People arrested for being outside. The fear and panic are causing people to act insane and see everyone as a threat. Essential businesses being told what they can and can't sell. So I totally get why there are people outraged. It is one thing to suggest people stay home. It's another to arrest those that don't. Sure, the government is doing this out of the best interest of the public, but at the same time should we give up liberty for a little safety?

They're still talking about taking such measures around here, since our county has the highest number of confirmed cases in our portion of the state, but residents aren't taking the stay-at-home order very seriously at all. Sure, non-essential business have been closed for a couple of weeks, and some continue to remain closed, but people are still getting out and socializing in groups and such.

Another positive case in my town, this time an employee from a Target store that's literally just a hop, skip, and a jump from where I live.

Just as I figured, our summer Fanboy Expo has been post-poned till the end of August . . . even so, I'm still going to hold off purchasing a ticket for the time being, because the future is still so uncertain. I mean, as much as I'd love to meet Jamie Farr, Loretta Swit, LeVar Burton, Jess Harnell, I'm not willing to risk my health and safety for it - nor do I wish for any of them to risk theirs as well.

That’s smart. My wife and I were hoping to see Toby Keith in September, but if we have to wait a year, so be it. 10,000 fans gathered anywhere would not be the best thing.

At the very least, I think you can still get cameo shout outs from Jess and Levar on cameo. But take that with a grain of salt.
