The latest update on GOOSE IN HIGH HEELS is that it's finally in post for editing, sound effects, and all that jazz, and apparently Dilly decided he wanted to take one of the narratives from the short and cut it into a separate pilot pitch for a new horror comedy series. Not sure what will become of that, since he hasn't been too successful in getting any potential new series off the ground since Courage, however GOOSE IN HIGH HEELS will be released in September, and at twenty-three minutes, I think this will be his longest one yet.

GOOSE IN HIGH HEELS is finally finished.

And we won't get to see it.

Apparently these film festivals have a regulation of some sort that prohibits Dilly from uploading the film to YouTube, which is very disappointing following these WIP videos for two years and then not get to see the finished project.

But, he will be uploading a trailer for it sometime soon, so I guess that's better than nothing.

Well, I imagine the whole film will be available for us to see someday soon. The Fog of Courage has been posted online a few times already, so probably the new film will be released on YouTube eventually.

I wouldn't recommend watching it at 1080p though - looks wonky for some reason; 720p gives smoother quality.

In one of his YouTube interviews, Dilly says he really liked the Hunchback and wished he could have worked out . . . but, what does he mean? Was he wanting the Hunchback to be a recurring character and CN said no or something? The Hunchback episode had a really wonderful message about friendship and acceptance.

Dilly just announced on Facebook today that there's a prequel to Courage in the works exclusively for Boomerang called BEFORE COURAGE. No clue what this will be: is it an actual episodic series? Is it another short? And in what was does he mean prequel? Is it Muriel and Eustace's lives before Muriel found Courage? Is it Courage's life as a puppy before his parents were abducted and sent into outer space?

This is all very exciting, though. Sucks that xfinity still won't carry Boomerang.

Yeah, I kind of wish CN would show it. I mean, i'm sure kids would watch it if it were marketed properly. And CN could definitely use the ratings at this point.

By Boomerang, he probably doesn't mean the channel - it's a new-ish VOD platform featuring a bunch of WB/Hanna-Barberra stuff. A lot of new programs and such are going there now.

Yeah, this sounds interesting. Sounds like something more of a short - maybe it'll explore more of his younger days and upbringing up to when he was found?

Also, WatchMojo.com FINALLY made a Top 10 Courage video of the scariest episodes. Some entries are pretty obvious like King Ramses and Demon in the Mattress, but eh, whatever. They don't even pronounce Eustace's name right.
