The Applebee's commercials don't bother me too much, if only because there are some rather fine lookin' females in there, but I will say it does kind of feel like it also cries of desperation and cheapness by basically just using people's trendy little TikToks and such set to an annoying little country-pop tune.

But yeah, I've seen worse.

Turn off your tv. Easy fix.
I've been basically having a break from Cable TV this whole year, I mainly will either watch YouTube and/or streaming services such as Disney+ and Netflix. And I take loads of breaks from watching TV as well, I only watch TV for 2-5, maybe 7 depending on the day, on hours at most. I was also really mad that day I made that comment, but not because of Cable TV, just the fact it was a slow day to me that day. and I'm sorry about that. I just needed to vent that day.

I don’t have cable anymore. Don’t really need it. All I watch now is Occasionally on Hulu, Disney Plus, and commercial-free episodes of The Price Is Right on Paramount.
I get news feeds through my phone, so I really have no need for network tv anymore.
Paramount now owns several old CBS shows, like All in the Family. The only commercials they show are Progressive and Geico. That is tolerable.
I must say, over the years Geico had some decent ad campaigns. The gecko, the cavemen, Maxwell the pig, etc. I’ve been a Geico customer for years. For me they had the best rates. The ads were just a nice touch.

Well, that Applebee's commercial song is actually a real song - I heard the full thing on the radio today in its entirety . . . not that it was exactly a treat or anything.

Those Liberty Mutual ads. THEY'RE EVERYWHERE. Even on YouTube videos. I'm starting to get annoyed by the jingle alone because of its' overexposure!

Speaking of insurance commercials, I really find those NJM commercials (“No Jingles or Mascots”) hypocritical. They constantly brag about how NJM is such great insurance they don’t need a gimmick, yet ironically they’re making that their gimmick in the process.

That’s part of the deal. Because insurance companies rake in billions of dollars, they can afford massive ad campaigns, and saturate their ads on many channels.
When an insurance company gets big enough, they can even buy their own football stadium.

So, what can't they put any of that money towards actually covering their members' expenses that they otherwise can't afford themselves?

Oh yeah. I forgot. This is America. That would be Socialism.

Fuzzy, you kinda missed the point (I wasn’t complaining about insurance commercials in general, just how hypocritical NJM was for having “lacking a gimmick” become their gimmick), but I absolutely agree on this part:
When an insurance company gets big enough, they can even buy their own football stadium.
Living in Ohio, home of Progressive Field and the Nationwide Arena, I can understand this completely.
