Yeah, people listed cartoons, too, when I thought we were being asked about sitcoms, but oh well. lol.
I saw other people had listed "The Flintstones" and I always loved that show and thought it was extremely creative and funny, so I included it in my honorable mentions. But I almost didn't since it is a cartoon. But then I thought, "Well, it DID show on primetime back in the 60's originally, and it was a half hour long, and it was very funny and had a laugh track like other 60's shows [eg. "Bewithced", "Green Acres"], so, why not."

Perfect strangers.....I watched that show on ABC. Family Matters was a spin off of that show.
Speaking of ABC, anybody remember TGIF on friday nights?
"Perfect Stangers" was indeed a funny show. Both Larry Appleton and cuzzin Balki were a good team. The bowling episode was one of my favorites.
I remember TGIF real well. In the late 80's/early 90's I had a job where I could watch tv ( or play chess, read, talk on the phone, eat, etc.) while at work during the slow times, which was usually 8-10pm (OH to have THAT job back again! The downside, though, was that it paid minimum wage!). So I regularly got to see that show as well as "Full House" and "Family Matters" while at work. Those were the days! (Oops, that's from 1970's "All in the Family"!)
