Sure, I can. Say it with a little grunt behind it: "BLANCHE." Especially if, while grunting behind it, you drag it out a little: "Blaaanche!"

Kinda makes you wanna eat grass.

Blanche from the Golden Girls always ****** me off cause she always thought she was so young an hott. So you have my permission to say whatever you want about her name. Plus, it's not like it's the actresses real name or anything, so I don't see why anyone would be offended by your saying that about her name.

Does anyone name their kids these anymore? They sound like example names off the SAT... "If Mortimer has 4 apples and Ira takes 2 of them and gives them to Bertram....." All I ever hear are Tylers and Marks and Taylors and Zacks. And of course my name, Matt, which is irritating to have. If someone yells out the name in a hallway, like 5 people search to see if they are being called. I've even been in classes with 4 Matts.

It seems that, along with using "old people" names, they also try to reach out to minority groups. Just last week I was doing some related rates calculus problem about a Native American girl with an old fashioned name that I can't remember. And to top it off, this girl, we'll call her Bertha, was in a wheelchair.

And of course my name, Matt, which is irritating to have. If someone yells out the name in a hallway, like 5 people search to see if they are being called. I've even been in classes with 4 Matts.

Hehehe, the name Sara is really common, too. In 5th grade, there were 5 of us in a class of 25. That was an interesting experience. Except they all spelled their names with an "H" at the end, so that kinda set me apart...well, not really.

Tell me about it, I have 2 host sisters and a best friend named Sarah, not to mention all the girls named Sarah at school! Another complication was that another host sister was named Rebecca as well as her sister Sarah's best friend!

The parents are called host parents, the daughters are called host daughters, etc. Except my first host family (with host sisters Sarah and Rebecca) kicked me out, so I got taken in by a second host family (with host sister Sarah).

Walter - Walt Disney! (though he wouldn't be under 80, would he... ) Also the true name of the lovable, huggable Radar!!!! I know what you mean about multiple names. Man, I have had soooo many Erins in classes with me! It gets very confusing! And in college, there was an Erin McCurdy and an Erin McCarthy (which everyone always call me anyway ).
