I got my email too, Its think its worth remembering that so far the first batch of these are on-route, which means that those of us who have had the email are getting ours from that first batch as we got our orders in early, others will have to wait for the next batch!!

So in honor of this momentous occasion, and in an effort to pass what is going to feel like a painfully long wait:

How do you plan on displaying Kermit?

I'm going to likely get a display case from www.casesforcollectibles.com, and put it up on a pedastal about four foot high or so. What I'd love to do it get some nice deep red velvet and gold trim, and try to capture the feel of the Muppet theater on the pedestal itself. Does anyone have any good pictures or screen captures that could help me plan this out, and capture the essence of it? Maybe go a step further, and put columns on the corners, with archways at the top?

I am also in the UK and having Kermit shipped to a friend in USA and then forwarded onto me. However, I am not sure if you are aware, it was on the Master Replicas Blog, that they have NOW changed from FedEx to DHL, so it may be cheaper to send to UK with DHL, I have emailed MR and asked for a new price on this, I will post on here the outcome, fingers crossed!!

Hi,

Just had an email back from master Replicas about shipping with DHL, The new cost is only a dollar cheaper than FedEx, I really can't understand why it costs over $200 to mail a package weighing 6 pounds to UK??

Here is the email reply I recieved.

It was $1.14 cheaper. So it is probabaly good just to do it the way you have

Also, I have had things from DHL delivered in the past from USA, and EVERY parcel carries customs charges of over £30.00, regardless of if it is inspected or not, they charge based on the cost, so replica Kermit would probably be even more than that?
