Chicago is...very warm, actually. To be honest, that's not fair: after several blistering weeks in the upper 90's, we're now enjoying an extremely pleasant cool front.

As for me, myself, I'm still broke. Some things never change, I guess.

What were you passing through Chicago for?

Ugh, it was a nightmare in Iowa, which is where I was headed to from Midway Airport for my best friends' wedding. I guess maybe it wasn't so hot, but the friggin humidity almost killed me! And I was in a tux almost ALL DAY Friday! Ack!

I'm broke too, don't feel bad. Those plane tickets killed me, but at least I didn't have to throw all my bathroom stuff away!

In other news, my Collectors Society swag was almost delivered today! I say almost, cuz I'm at work all day and my FedEx guy doesn't understand that. Maybe I'll get it tomorrow...

I just wanted to throw in my two cents about the Collector's Society. You get a $50 coupon for Disney items, and if you're not a Star Wars fan, you can always sell the physical kit (pin, mini saber) and get a bit of your money back. If you have friends or family that collect Star Wars swag from MR, you could always place orders for them and take advantage of the Star Wars coupons too, and just have them reimburse you. Unfortunately you can't share your coupon codes though.

Hopefully as the license progresses with Disney, we'll see more Disney perks in the CS kit. Right now, if the only thing you plan on buying is Kermit, unless you plan to sell your kit, you're really not going to save.
