Thanx. I already saw the balcony. He did a great job on that, but I thought you said it was a theater set. I didn't catch that picture.

It is a fantastic model. Some are talking as if the balcony is a seperate piece even though Ken has said it would come in the stage unit. I just can't wait for the theater.

Would a stage playset with a box for S&W really be a reality size wise?

I actually dozed off at work today and was thinking about the stage playset. If it's like I dreamed it would be, it's gonna be COOL!! The description is pretty much like it is on the boards here, but all they'd have to do is create a wing off the side of the stage on the left and right for the balcony to appear, and a connector to the side for the Backstage Set. I think a whole series release could be the stage and backstage and I'd be okay with that!! Just advertise what figures will come next series on the boxes.

From what I gather, if they have the theater stage lift off the ground, the backstage set would need lifts to connect it. Wonder how that would work out?

RE: Backstage Set

Well, it'll have to be in the air anyhow, because there are stairs that go down to the stage entrance in the back, plus a door on the left and right (the one on the right is Pop's box). Right?

Forgot to mention, just hallowed-out plastic, like underneath Animal's bandstand. It could also allow them to put in a trap door or two underneath the backstage area and onstage if it's a few inches in the air.

Wiggy was campaigning for a seperate Balcony to be made available seperately before any stage playset was released (ie:- hangs on walls). Ken has said that ideally it will come as part of any Theatre playset but if for sure it turns out they aren't making one, apparently it is something that Ken has said will be considered as a seperate item.

Personally I don't see how a whole stage set could be done with 2 balconies (thats right 2, one on each side don't forget). It would be massive. it would have to be at least twice the height of the kitchen to give the balconies enough height and then it would have to be about 4 inches off the ground as well. Of course if ken figures out a way to do it, I'll buy it. I just hope it's a full stage. I'm sure no matter how it's done, you will have to assemble it yourself because to fit in a box it would have to be in pieces.
