What do you think the reason is? Totally overlooked that. Part of me thought that the Marleys would be one piece like the Snowths and that Fozzie and Bean would fill the other spots.

no, they're putting Staler and Waldorf in different boxes (like they're doing with Mahna Mahna and the Snowths) My theory on doing Bean asa PVC is that it would be a small (almost to scale representation of the character released before the actual figure which would cut in ot the sales of a Bean figure at a later date (most likely in '04). So you take Bean out of the PVC set, put Fozziwig in there instead. That way when Bean comes out as a regular figure, it's really the first time you see him and more peopel are likely to buy him. It makes sense if you think about it. I'm pretty sure we'll see him sometime in '04. I know he made it on a lot of people's wish lists.

We need MORE rediculously hardcore Muppet/JHC fans! hehe

Btw, sooo, I see...*now* youre finally starting to see things my way on the Pepe figure:wink:

I still have to ask, what will come first...US war with Iraq, or Valentines half buyout finalized? The war in the sand, and the war in the foam...the epic thirteen year struggle continues...next on CNN!

That makes sense - especially because the Henson Hour isn't covered in the rights from what I understand. MCC costumed Bean is really the standard version in our minds. I definitely want an articulated version of him.

I have no idea why JHH isnt covered in the licencing agreements. I think thats so lame, being JHC's most edgy production(IMHO)
I think Bean would totally be in the agreement...remember Bean debuted a full two years after JHH aired, as well was a huge fixture on the Muppets scene for a lot of the 90's. Heck, we was even seen briefly in VMC. Also, Clifford, while being native to JHH, is also being made. I personally would love to get another small figure in the Rizzo/Pepe scale...3-3.5" Muppet figures rule!

I don't know what it is about the Pepe figure, but he looks depressed or something. Maybe I've never noticed that the puppet has any eyelids. Maybe Palisades over exagerated the bags under his eyes. I don't know.

It just dawned on me why I wasn't totally satisfied with the eyes on the Male Koozebanian: the figure's eyes are white, but the puppet's are yellow! Now it makes sense. Just thought I'd mention it if it wasn't already apparent.

I think he's right. A simple yellow painting of the eyes would make him just about perfect.

Is it just me or does News Reporter Kermit's head look like a new head sculpt?

Yeah but they don't have the license to VMC OR JHH so really Bean as a figure would need to be the christmas version to be anything exciting i guess. Clifford, IMO, is a mistake as a figure - especially releasing him so late in the game. I think Clifford has been pretty much retired now, and he hasn't been the most high profile character anyway so by the time he comes out he'll be even further away in the casual fans minds. I just don't think he'll do anything for the line - a better choice could have been made.
