Okay, Toys 'R' Us and EB Games are, unfortunately, canceling their shipments of future Muppet Show figures (is this true?). But, will SamGoody still be gettign them? That's the only place left that I know of to buy them anywhere near me.

Oh. I thought someone said they weren't going to be in the EB STORES. I know it's still online, but I hate online shopping. I thought the stores were going to stop carrying it.

To my knowledge, there's only 1 EB Games or Electronics Boutique store that'll stop selling the Muppets figures made by Palisades Toys. Over at the Palisades forum, Dr. Teeth (known as Lew Zealand here at muppetcentral.com's forum) said that the EB Games store in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada would stop selling the figures. Hope this helps clear up any confusion and that the rest of the stores don't get any bad ideas to stop the supply anytime soon.

As far as we were told on MC, EB was going to stop stocking figures in stores and just sell them online. Not sure what the source of that was.

Well I know that the EB here in my part of Brooklyn doesn't carry any figures. And the KB here has no muppets either. The only place was TRU and they won't have series 3. Online ordering for me.

What's happeing with EB is that they have discovered they've been finding a lot of figures just sort of sitting on the shelf (not just muppets but all the lines ) and not really moving. So they're geting back to being just a video game store. however, f you actually go into an EB and say "Hey, I'd like to orse/pre-order some of the Muppet figs.' then they will happiliy oblige.

Isn't it just some stores doing that? I thought the ones in shopping malls would continue to sell them.

I don't think it's all ofthem I think it's just the ones where figures aren't really selling. At least that's what I was told back in June when I went to buy Series 1. But I got the impression that other Ebs were staringot follow suit when I went to buy Series 2. Ironically while I'vebeen very happy with the service at our local EB, Ithink theonly fig I've bought for my coelction form them is the exclusive Piggy. Everyody else I've bought at Suncoast.

At my Sun Coast they only had the vacation Fozzie. And he was on the bottom shelf. If I hadn't looked down I would have never noticed it. Too bad because that was where I first saw series one. It was during the summer when they still had then in the display window.
