The only other characters closer to Camilla than Gonzo are other chickens. I like the stunt Gonzo, but really, we NEED a suited up Gonzo, because that was how he was for most of TMS.

I expect that we fans have shown enough interest in all this that the series should continue on. After all, they are NOT easy figures to find in stores...SOMEONE has to be buying them up!

They would be great accessories for a 'Tropical Pepe' variant which i would quite like, he could come in Hawian shirt with one of those flower ring 'Leigh' things and some shades - kinda themed with the whole Vacation Fozzie thing. I think it'd be really cool.
How about Kokomo Kermit and Luau Piggy?! Piggy could come with an apple that attaches to her mouth! HAA!

Yeah but there are about 10 really recognisable characters in the whole of the Muppets, other than to Muppet fans and people with really good memories. If you just had one incarnation of the most famous characters and only ever did them once then the rest of the line would be fillled with characters nobody except 600 or so die hard Muppet fans and figure collectors would buy - Palisades have to produce these figures in many thousands, and with the Muppet Show being off the air for donkey's years the vast majority would just sit on the shelves, not sell and the line would be cancelled.

The point is - if Palisades did what you wanted you would never see ANY of the lesser known or obscure characters at all because the line would be a total failure. Even with a line like 'The Simpsons' Playmates have had to do multiple incarnations of the main characters and they have a show that is continually on the air worldwide many times a week. I just think you are really missing the point entirely on this whole figure thing - they aren't just our best buddies who've dropped by to make cute action figures for 300 or so die hard Muppet fans - they are actually trying to create a toy line with a long life, increasing popularity, that sells to the general public and makes money. If you were to create Wave 9 that included a Frackle, Annie Sue Pig, The porter out of Happiness Hotel and the little boy who sounded like a girl in MTI (because you'd run out of main characters) it just aint gonna happen. Besides all that - the whole idea of the Muppets was that it was a SHOW and the characters were often seen doing different things every week, it's totally justified to be showing them in different guises, especially as some of them look so good and have proved very popular.

Depends on how well she chews up that apple. Then, like the door in a jar, you can take the jar of apple sauce and throw it on the wall, except this makes a huge mess instead!!

here are some more idea's for pepe if they haven't been thought up of yet...

Hensonvill newspaper...Kermit was actaualy reading it, but it could be a cool item...i really wouldn't want it to be real paper though as it could rip easy, maybe like a very thin plasic.

Blow dryer and yellow sponge, pepe was bathing in the sink then he dried his hair. the blow dryer would be something pepe could hold nicely.

again, these are things that can maybe also come along with pepe and the door and door in a jar...

gonzo idea

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I think it would be cool if the next Gonzo has moveable eyelids, like Animal does. So Gonzo could do that bulgy-eyed look he did quite often on the show. That always cracked me up.

Unfortunately, as much as we may want it, it ain't gonna happen. I asked this question earlier, and, I was told they tried, Gonzo's eye mechanism would have been to small to do and easily breakable.

Hehehehe! Luau Piggy! Hehehehehe! Anyone else remember the "Ukelele Lady" number sung by Kermit? That was cool.

"If she..."
"She!"
"...sees...."
"Sees!"
"Another Ukelele
Lady foolin' round with you..."
"Maybe she'll cry!"
"An awful lot!"
"Maybe she'll sigh!"
"And maybe not.
Maybe she'll find somebody else
By anad by-yi-yi-yi!"
"Oooh. Oooh. When it's cool and shady,
When it's really wicky whacky woo..."

Hehehehehehe! I'm a singin' fool! Or maybe just a fool. Anyway...

The door spews. Hmm. Not a bad idea. If not, it makes for a lot of unsuccessful '80s-'90s era toy flashbacks. Remember those? Didn't one of the Ghostbuster figures have something like that? I know they made a Jabba the Hutt that "spewed". Let's not even go into those figures of teh '90s that could "rip one off".

You have some great ideas there - Hensonville Newspaper and the Hairdryer would be cool.
