"But, I wanted to do something different!"

"So put some Jell-o in your pants!"

Bernard & Ronnie Crawford, The Muppets Take Manhattan

I could go for some loose Jell-o...

I don't see loose jello as being a very fun accessory...I mean, wouldn't it just eb a tiny, soon to be lost green plastic cube?

It'd be okay, but not the greatest.

I woudln't mind seeing the egg that might be filled with chocolate, okay.

Or howsabout a ad bad donkey for him to spank? :stick_out_tongue:

Hmm..no, scratch that last one....

I could be up for some loose and sticky jello in the 'Door In A Jar' but then i bet you'd have tons of QC problems passing something small, loose and sticky. Maybe they can just paint the jar to look like theres something green and fluorescent in it and then have a label saying 'Door In A Jar' etc.

I am definitely warming to the whole 'Door In A Jar' idea and also hopefully yeah he might come with a few other things like the pizza box. My only real aprehension at the start was that it's a movie thing and MFS wasn't that popular so some people might be left wondering but if it was explained on the back in the blurb it'd be cool. It's a shame there isnt more Pepe specific things that could actually be accessories as Rizzo's are completely brilliant, numerous and very cleverly thought out. Not saying the others aren't too but the 'Rat' is really looking like something special !

Hmm...maybe Ken and Co. should just write a letter to Bill Baretta at JHC FanMail and see if it can get to him to see what he thinks his character should come with? It's a long shot, but who knows.

BTW, where's Emmy and Jackie during all this??? It's Bill's character, they should have SOME input here.

Probably "Muffins" and really Spoovy "Envelopes."

Just noticed that Ken said in the Palisades forum :-

"Teeth in a Tux, SpaceWalk Link and Pepe in a Tutu will probably go into 04 and not be in 03...we'll have to see how the stock moves on the summer exclusives first. "

So a little news tidbit for ya there !

No Repeat Characters Please

I don't like the idea of having the same characters appear in different series. One Gonzo is enough- it should have come with Camilla the first time. It also leaves a space for a whole new character that we will otherwise never see. Is it too late to get a naked Sam instead of Treasure Island, and have it be the only Sam? Or to have Gonzo Series 4 removed, and have some new character that comes with Camilla? Is there any other character who was close with Camilla?

due to marketing demands, they want to see the more popular figures in different incarnations. As anchor figures that the "average" consumer might impulse buy...for example, joe blow who remembers the muppets from 197* but doesn't follow toys, might buy a gonzo or kermit because he was cool back then, but is unlikely to remember crazy harry. Therefore, every series needs at least one anchor figure to help with sales.

Personally, I don't mind different incarnations of the same character, assuming that it never gets too crazy (like the insane # of homer simpson figures in the simspons line, for example). So far, I dont' see that as a problem...

Personally, I really like to have both versions of Gonzo, as he was often pictured in both outfits...there's two sides tothe character...however, I could see why you wouldn't neccessarily like that. Luckily, we know the schedule way in advance, so you can find out which one you like best and only buy that one.

Of course, that was my origianl plan, until I discovered that al lthe different varients were cool and decided I had to have them all

They would be great accessories for a 'Tropical Pepe' variant which i would quite like, he could come in Hawian shirt with one of those flower ring 'Leigh' things and some shades - kinda themed with the whole Vacation Fozzie thing. I think it'd be really cool.
