Actually Quinn just reminded me - at christmas my mom had a big dolls house catalouge she was looking through - i had a quick look (for purely research purposes of course) and it had upright pianos, mini books, mini newspapers, sweets, food - all that kinda stuff could be a customisers heaven for something like the Chef's kitchen. I'll have to scan some pics but i think the site is www.dollshouse.com

Fozzie playing with a fozzie figure

Fozzie: wocka wocka wocka!

Kermit: Ahh, Fozzie? Fozzie, what are you doing?

Fozzie: HEY kermit! check of the Muppet action figures from Palisades toys!

kermit: yes that's very nice fozzie...

Fozzie: Yeah! Hey they made a figure of you too!

Kermit: what!?! hey, hey that's pretty neat could i see it?

Fozzie, well, well ummm, i'm kinda playing with it now

well i guess it wouldn't go like that but some great stuff could be done with Miss piggy, gonzo, rizzo, and pepe too!
Thats pretty funny.

thanks Quinn, im glad to hear we will be getting a different piano. i thought i might have to look at ones for doll houses, speaking of which i might use things for doll houses to build my own back stage playset and main stage, been thinking fo doing that since i heard those 2 playsets were put on hold

Suggestion...

Suggestion: With the Muppet Stage playset, could you make it so the other playsets could slide in and out behind the curtain? You know, make it more like the show with a movable curtain and everything? That's be awesome!!!!!!

Also, are there plans for a new Kermit toy? I try to make up my own story lines and stuff with my figures, but, whenever you get to an emotional part where someone's upset, they all have those goofy smiles on their faces! Or, at least one with a bal joint neck like Floyd. With him, you can move his head in various directions so it either looks like he's getting emotional about his music, or real happy (not the right word... couldn't think up something better)

And, I have something else. Not too important. The Animal figure. So much time and effort was put into his jaw and eyelid movements. Where was Gonzo's moving eyelids? He looks about as big of a droop as he did in the first season. Or, was that what you were going for? Hmmm?

Thanx!

The Muppet Theater set has been pushed back for at least a year so it's a bit early to go too far into details. However, Ken has reported it will have movable fabric curtains, a balcony and each playset will be able to on the stage (one at a time, of course). I don't think there will be any rigging involved with the sets. I think there will be some default background pieces, though. Just flat scenery things. It was talked about, but I'm not sure if it was confirmed. The thing will be huge to begin with. I know it will be well over two feet tall, maybe over three. No exact size has been determined. There will be no theater seats. Can't fit those in. There will be a great amount of detail in the theater, though. It has also been said that there will be a hook to latch on a future backstage set. That's about all that can be said for now.

The characters will not have expressions on their faces. This is a Henson decision. They don't want to see a scrunched-faced Kermit sitting on a shelf. Animal's eyes are cool, but such articulation is hard to do with other characters. This includes Gonzo. Just too small to make that sort of articulation I think. I wouldn't count on that. There was going to be articulation to Beaker's mouth, but it was scrapped because it was too small of a piece to allow for such articulation.

I thought the last thing Ken said on it was that it was indefintely postponed, but if they did do it, it'd be just larger than the Chef's Kitchen, like a normal playset or slightly larger and they'd fit it into the line that way rather than an extra deluxe set. He ruled out the playsets fitting onto the stage as well i thought.

Exactly, the poor lad's being worked to the bone around here - it's like a career in a Chinese sweat shop. First his memory was cloudy over the 'new posts' thing and now he's lost six months of action figure news. It must be memory seepage ..... i could try jacking him upto a computer like in Johnny Mnemonic if it'd help !
