Losing a major location to purchase these Muppet figures is pretty bad, but you're probably right. The figures only got a tiny bit of space in the action figure asile, but at Suncoast Video they had a ton of shelf space at the front of the store (they got more of them too)!

Yeah i agree - i can see the changes will really help the longevity of the line and also that there will be less 'big risks' to lose money or have premium price products that don't see well enough and end up costing Palisades. I think it makes sense to concentrate on budget priced items with the figures being at the top end rather than it being the other way around. The Mega's weren't really right for the brand (although the kind of thing thats popular in action figure circles) and i think maybe with the PVC's (at least over here) you would probably sell loads more if they were sold individually or in smaller packs at card shops ..... that approach works very well here but then people (as in Joe Public) would only ever want the major characters. I'm not sure what plans for other Muppet style products you have Ken but if the license stretches to other areas where you could produce low cost stuff for a few dollars you might pick up some more sales.

Saw the Series 4 pics. These have got to be the best to date. No complaints. They all look like their respective characters. Series 1 Piggy- well, we all know the reaction to that one. I think Floyd looks a little off (probably the nose) though it's stil a nice figure. Scooter's glasses were off, Rowlf has grown on me (the naked version looks better- I mean more like the real thing, you perverts!) and you know I had problems with Zoot (btw have there been any adjustments made to him?) But these, man no real complaints. If anything, Strangepork's hair looks too gray where it should be white. That's it really.

I do have one question. The paint specs on Link & Strangepork- is that just prototype paint? I noticed that they didn't have the logos on their uniforms and they were colored quite differently, so I gotta ask.

Sam is perfect. I may be compelled to buy him anyway (I wasn't planning to; I was going to wait for the regular Sam).

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No Koozebane! TRU passed on Series 3! Playsets reduced in number, and staggered!

Oh man, I think I need a hug.

Okay, with that said, you said we'll still be getting aliens. Do you know how many and which ones?

TRU can kiss my a$$. I'm willing to bet that my place of work, Meijer, has passed on Series 2. Am I correct? Strange that they're not selling well- we still have 17 over in Canton, MI. Folks, if you haven't gotten Series One yet, you can still get it at Meijer. Add to that, each figure is a buck cheaper there than it is at TRU and EB.

Well, I sure as heck picked a bad time to become a TRU employee, mainly with the intent on getting easy access to future Muppet toys. I guess it will at least give me the money I will need, to spend elsewhere, though it seemed to have the best deals of anywhere I've seen. What a dissappointment, along with the dispersement of playsets, as well as lack (though not complete lack) of Koozebane. I must say, unlike Luke and perhaps others, that this was one I was really looking forward to. It would definitely give the Swine Trek crew more to do, as well as being an important set piece amongst the Muppet Show, in general. I'm glad to see it'll at least be getting the semi-set treatment, whatever that will include, of which I really hope Merdilidops are, but still, the "indefinitelly cancelled" bit really got me urked, as I feel that goes against the typical, more hopeful Ken/Palisades approach of "anything is possible, depending on the success of the line." The splitting up of the crew and their set also is kinda irritating, as it really made sense, in the same way that the Simpsons line tends to put playset-relevant characters in the same line as the set, such as Blue-Haired Lawyer, and the courtroom. I suppose Link and Strangepork can just wander my bedroom, exploring the unknown beneath my bed.
Anyways, being that I don't really know all of the ins and outs of the business side of toys, I sure hope this is a good decision that will help the line last. In that case, I'm all for it, being that this will allow for more characters and playsets, down the line. If that's so, then great, just make sure we at least get the naked Rowlf and Sam, soon enough. Thanks for hearing me out. Take care.

I'm sure the Koozbane set being dropped is disapointing to many, I would have really have like to see it made, but in a sencein my opintion it wasn't a real mandatory playset, i think the Reporter Kermit figure is mandatory and coming with a few Koozbanes is great! even a small base is an fantastic idea!

pushing back playsets does kinda bite, manily PIS and even waitting a little longer for the chef set in set 3.

i think we gotta remember that when it it said anything is possible it also means anything can change, good things and bad, i'm more dissapointed in the EM bus but we now will get a janice repaint. i have a feeling the bus won't get made, in a way it seems to hard but Palisades have been doing unbeliveable things.

i hope that the whole VH gang will be made along with a playset as we are downsizing on them, now i feel there isn't as good of a chance for BOP, not the fozzie figure but the playset its self. still it will take time to see what comes out and what doesn't.

I for one was glad to hear TRU is out, and the playsets are scaled back. Second, why didnt I think of that...a Kermit reporter, mini playset, and Koozebanes for less than half what a full Koozebane playset that wouldnt sell anything.

Btw, I think he'll come with Male Koozebane, Female Koozebane, and Phoobis. Least that's my educated TMS guess.

I also would like to thank Palisades for putting priorities where they need to be...did we really need Vet Hospital variants and playsets? Sheesh. I think a lot of us would much rather have rarities like Clifford, Pepe, Beauregard, Newsman, etc.

Hey Beaker, who's Phoobis? Is he the Koozbanian alien who started metamorphosing into a carbon copy of Reprter Kermit? If so, his real name is the Koozbanian Foob. Maybe Palisades will find a way to include the Koozbanian Spooble, the red liquid bottle, in the pack as well.

It's the male and female, their baby (all three separate limited articulation "buddies", and a couple of Merdlidops sculpted onto the base itself, but non-removable.

And before anybody asks...I don't have it in the budget to make them go up and down...but believe me the thought has crossed my mind!
