To Gorgon Heap: The only reason I thought the character's name was spelled "Foob" is because that's the way his name's spelled over at kermitage.com, where I drew the main drain for my Muppet master list's inflation. Are you absolutely sure the character who turned himself into a copy of Reporter Kermit, but with a slightlybluer-green skin color was named Phoob? Just curious to change the listing.
To ExodiaTF1: Ken already discussed the fact that Henson won't allow them to make an action figure of the Jim Henosn Muppet. Don't really know if that would also apply to the Frank Oz Muppet though? Guess it'll have to wait until contract renewals after the line has succeeded beyond Henson's wildest dreams.
Fozzie Bear (Senior Member from TN, gotta differentiate between yourself and the user from Austrailia some way): You can find the rightful prototype pictures of Series 4 figures over at the updated Palisades toys website, www.palisadestoys.com, or in the "New Series 4 Pictures!" thread in the Muppets section of Palisades' forum.
Hope this helps everybody.

How does the sale of the Henson company affect the line of figures?

For example, say that Disney get Henson. Did that mean we could get Muppet Vision 3-D figures?

I also would like to thank Palisades for putting priorities where they need to be...did we really need Vet Hospital variants and playsets? Sheesh. I think a lot of us would much rather have rarities like Clifford, Pepe, Beauregard, Newsman, etc.
Vets Hospital was not going to be released in 2003, Ken just said they were cutting back on playsets, i don't remember vets being srapped, it must have been a major idea as it is listed on the back of the Muppet labs box, and Clifford, Pepe, Beauregard, Newsman already have spots in the line, the VH weren't listed before them anyways...

many people were for the idea od the vets set, why wouldn't anyone want another diffrent classic Janice or Rowlf as the poplar "Dr. Bob" Fig? it's just cutting back on playsets as there won't be one every wave. BOP kinda seems unlikey, but hopefuly we will still see the police Fozzie fig, But ken would have the say in this.

Ken's mentioned before that the Bear on Patrol Fozzie sculpt is done, so it's likely just a matter of time before he sees the light of day in 2003 or 2004.

Good chap, I say! Dear me I do INDEED have two questions that you good sir could answer for me! Great Jolly-PIP! I do believe that since you ARE producing the fine Kermit Reporter figure, and since that Fozzie Bear chap is the same in The Great Muppet Caper as he always seems to bloody be, I'd say you'd need to make a photographer Gonzo figure! Why, this would not only be a jolly good treat for us, but BLIMEY! That'd make a nice major character to fix up some future series a bit so people recognize them more, eh?

figures you need to make:

Sweetums (with robin)
Naked Rowlf
Naked Sam
Pops
Lips
Bobo
Dr. Phil Van Neuter

By the way my good man, that's my raw and basic and necessary list for you old chap.

If you just wait a tiny bit more my good man, I've got another thing to ask if you don't mind old chap! I've been hearing a great bloody number of messages 'bout this new "previously unreleased character" in series five I do believe. Now, what us blokes'd like to know, is that if it is a musically related character of some kind? If it's not, is it a character from the backstage of the muppet theatre now my good lad? Now we'd all like it now if ye'd answer quickly, if you catch my drift eh?

Cheerio!

oh yes i knew that,i saw it lying on a desk in a photo, that's why i hoped they would still make him because he was sculpted, i do hope he come's with a playset.

"Sweetums
Robin
Naked Rowlf
Naked Sam
Pops
Lips
Bobo
Dr. Phil Van Neuter"

Can you shove Bean Bunny in there too? i'd also think Uncle Deadly would be a great fig too. i read the sweetums will not come with Robin and robin would habe to be fitted somewhere else, but dont quote me on that.

Does that have any bearing on consideration for a Mahna Mahna figure (or a Thog figure for that matter)?

No bearing at all. Not to say it doesn't matter as far as a reminder to me of fan interest, or that he isn't in consideration...but it just didn't have the type of participation to have a real influence.

I remember this mentioned somewhere earlier or I could have imagined it but are you still planning on adding some"Muppet" texture to the Pigs or does Henson want all the pigs to have smooth skin.

Already been added in pre-production. Lookin' SWEET.

How does the sale of the Henson company affect the line of figures?

As far as I know not at all...

Ken's mentioned before that the Bear on Patrol Fozzie sculpt is done, so it's likely just a matter of time before he sees the light of day in 2003 or 2004.

Phil, as always, is the man with the info!

He'd be cool...but probably gonna lay off Gonzo in the rest of the '03 SKU's...

Um...my lips are sealed.

Also, it being canceld has set a precedent: Koosebane Kermit will have the first character pack-ins. Personally I'll always take a pack-in over an accessory. My opinion is, and has always been, that we need less cannons and barrels, and more Penguins, Chickens, Frackles. Hopefully this will be the beginning of more extra characters. What do you think Ken?

Hey, wasnt Robot Rabbit the first packin? Anyways, I agree...sorry to say but I must rather see a chicken, penguin, frackle, or even a vegetable then budget contraining props.

And I would agree, Dave does seem to be the resident all things TMS guru!(I remember even I or Tom couldnt stump ya on TMS trivia!)
