Hey Bad Andy!

Man, and for awhile it seemed like I was the only one who acknowleged Bad Andy and Flat Eric as Muppets(Hopefully JHC will ressurrect em like they did with Joe the Armadillo)

Anyways, I am still confident Series 2 will hit California by Xmas.
That unfortunate lockout really served the purpose of screwing up the US economy, something the US definately needs any more of since trying to get back on its feet.

As for the EM bus argument, I would MUCH rather see a Koozebane playset as originally planned in series 5.

If Koozebane is put back on schedule for 5, I think itd make that the greatest series ever(Pepe, Gonzo w/ Camilla, Newsman, Janice, Statler, Waldorf, Koozebane playset with Kermit and Koozebane figures)

Hey, beaker! Yeah, I figured that "Bad Andy" would be a decent username after reading that he was created by Jim Henson's workshop (the fact that many of the more familiar Muppets names were already taken also played a part, :stick_out_tongue: ). Finally, I loved those Dominos commercials, so that sealed the deal.

Love that avatar, BTW. Did you draw that? Beaker looks wicked cool...kind of like The Matrix.

Back to the topic: I was saddened that the Electric Mayhem bus was nixed in the upcoming waves, but hopefully it will be added back in if the run is popular enough. Besides, what I've always wanted was to get the Happiness Hotel bus from TGMC.

Yeah, I'm hoping the EM bus does eventually appear since we've all got a pretty good idea of just how righetous it will be when you look at the current and soon to be relesed parts of the line. Of course if the bus is 86'd then perhaps we could get either Fozzies' uncle's Studebaker or the Church from TMM? Or maybe even both?(I like to be optimistic about these things, yaknow.)

i certainly hope Palisades take's advatage of the first three Muppet films (TMM, TCMC and TMTM) so far the bigger muppet movie things we know are going to be in the line are MCC, and MTI. i Hope pushing off the EM bus isn't a fancy way of saying "were probaly not going to make it".

MCC and MTI are "easy" to make characters from because of the diffrent costumes, but I think these movies would make very week, useless, and wasted playsets (all aside from a MTI Ship, THAT would be great!) as i've said before thought if you want to make a Movie playset GMC is the way to go (happness hotel, double decker bus, bueagard taix (but bueagard would have to come with it) maybe even the hot air balloon, but that wouldn't have to be a playset but packed in with a GMC gonzo fig or something. but out off all movie playset the EM bus is the best choice to go with, but lets not forget about BOP and VH Muppet show sets aswell.

Glad ya like the avatar! Yeah, I'd say it's kind of like something from the 'Matrix'. More like the 'Meeptrix':

Hehe, I remember when Phil posted about the Bad Andy promotion! I loved the little guy, and welcomed him in as a new Muppet. Sadly most people didnt take to him. Oh well.
Sadly there has never been ANY merch for modern Muppet commercials...be it dominos, LJS, Dennys, etc.

I always liked Bad Andy ... when I found out months later that he was a Muppet it made him that much cooler.

I emailed Dominos when the Bad Andy commercials came out to ask them if they'd ever make a stuffed figure for sale on their site. I got a letter back via snail mail stating that they didn't have any plans to do so at the time, but they threw in the big round Bad Andy pin the delivery people were wearing at the time.

Cool! Yeah I think its a shame JHC didnt do anything with him. I definately see him fitting in with the 'edgier' new Muppets coming to Fox next Summer. Well if they can bring back Joe the Armadillo they can bring back Bad Andy! Ok, maybe not...but JHC definately needs to bring back Digit, Leon, and Zondra...these guys are still just as edgy as they were in 1989!

I can see them using him for a quick cameo or one-time appearance (such as a joke about the Muppets selling out, like the peacock logo on Kermit's foot in the recent Christmas special), but I don't think they'd make Bad Andy a regular, since he's too closely related to Dominos and marketing.
