Luke,

Guess there won't be any mention here of lingerie then, huh?

ANYONE:
Got some links to good photos of the Fozzie fig? I'd love to copy-cat some of these folks and maybe start working toward a figure-avatar!

I LOVE THESE FIGS!

Thanks, I was invisioning an advertisement on a different site for the 14" Beaker Already.

Peersonally, if Palisades is seriously considering 14" Figures I have 2 opinions:

1) do the big monsters (like Thog or Sweetums) to keep them is scale with the other figures.

2) If you are going to do the regualr figures Jumbo sized, you need somebody with thicker legs than Animal (or Kermit).
My 6" Kermit won't stand up without support (I have him on the WOS town square, leaning on the podium.)
A 14" figure would need a strong (wide) support base, like Beaker, Dr. Teeth or Fozzy.

(Still on vacation until tomorrow so I have not been as attentive to the board as usual. Very ready to be back in the grind actually!)

About the Vets Hospital characters:
I think the characters should be more true to their roots and be in scrubs , but I wouldn't mind if either Janice or Piggy came in a more traditional uniform as long as one of them was in scrubs . That might be a better selling point actually and it seems that some people here might be behind it, though there are plenty of purists. I'm only a quazi-purist.

About Rizzo's accesories:
Actually since his costume veers from the Muppet Show, I think he should come with a headset like in Muppets Tonight. I wouldn't mind such liberties taken with him here. I also like the pizza box idea. May I suggest that there be a removable magnatized piece? I also think a dancing cheese would be cool! No picture is really neccessary here though I could get you one in a day or so. Just think of a piece of cheese with tap shoes, a mouth and some muppet eyes. It would be great if he could come with Yolanda (his rat girlfriend) but I know that is highly unlikely.

About the chart:
Don't worry so much about the changes, I'll try to keep it more updated with you once I get back to San Francisco. I think it's fun to see the process of things changing while shaping future waves in the series. It just shows so much thought being put into these guys! [BTW - Thanx for the compliment, Matt - and if you see anything that's off, please tell me. I'd also like to compare notes with your list. Where is it?]

Would I buy a 14 inch Beaker?
My answer to this is yeah, but why stop there? Heck, I'd buy a lifesized Beaker! On a serious note, I would think that including Muppet monsters like Thog would be great if figures of that size were being made.

Also:
I get what you were saying the other day about the accessories getting easier as the line goes on and I very much agree with it. I also think the inclusion of small (non-articulated) pack-in characters would be tops on most fans' lists. There were so many classic bit characters in the Muppet Show - penguins etc - that I'd like to see one included with as many figures as is possible in futrure waves. I can't recall all the names right now, but there are some really great ideas out there!

I think a lot more could be done with a Penguin though - as i said, spinning bow-tie, fish in pocket like that sig image i had a while back, maybe a removable crash helmet for any dangerous stunts, shades. It could almost be another normal Muppet fig in itself so packaging it with one of the other smaller figs might allow it to be articulated and come with a couple accesories.

The penguin patient idea was cool too, i liked that one.

hey Jamie,
"the list" exists only on my computer right now until I get a few pieces of info from ken. I sent a preliminary copy of it to Annika (MuppetQuilter) and it will be used as part of the FAQ of Ken questions when it gets put on MC. Annika is also going to send me what she has and we'll compare notes so it kinda looks like we're pairing up on this, but we I've only had one or two e-mails with her. We'll see what happens. I may post it in a thread here depending on how much does/doesn't get used, but I thikn you're going to see most of the final version in some form or other. there's a LOT. I have like 5 pages of info,

I've had company for the past week, tomorrow my life becomes my own again and I'll be able to put serious work into the FAQ. As soon as I have something together, I'll send it to you.

Love the idea...it's funny. Was it in the show?
I'm glad you like the idea, no it didn't come from the show, it came straight from the insane muppetized brain of Ben Greene. Do you think you could actually use the idea as the cover of the box? It would be amazing to see my idea turned into a mass-marketed accessory for the Rizzo figure of my new favorite line of action figures!

Hey Ken,
I just found something you and any other Simpsons collectors will be interested in. I just went to my local Target today in St. Louis, MO and was delighted to discover that they have cut the prices of their Simpsons figures. This is not a sale, the tags said "Price Cut". I picked up two playsets, the Police Station with Officer Eddie and the Retirement Castle with Jasper, for $14.99 each. And regular figures are $4.99 each. I was so happy about this. These appear to be the regular prices from now on at Target. This is a really great deal since Toys'r'us has increased their prices. I used to get the playsets there for $19.99, but now they are $24.99. Anyways, I thought I would just spread the good word.
