Thanks for passing that along. The Target nearest me never keeps enough stock in the store...I have yet to see any current waves of Simpson's in there. But I will keep my eyes open.

Where is St. Loius do you live? I was born there and my mother still lives in St. Charles.

Simpsons for 4.99 and playsets for 14.99 you've got to be kidding me! I just bought all of them for the normal price. (at least I still have my receipts) I'll be gone for a few minutes...

Hey Ken:

RE: Large Scale Muppets....I think that'd be pushing it for the mainstream collectors, and you'd only get the real die-hards (like us) to buy them...there are plenty o' people who would shell out eight bucks multiple times who wouldn't pony up twenty for some bigger toys that they feel like they've already got in a smaller scale.

RE: PVCs...with these, I think you'd get a lot more people than with the figures, even; you'd get more characters (a whole lineup) for one price, if you were doing them like the DC Direct boxes of JLA/Titans/Villains, whatever... And they may seem more "kid-friendly" for people who are looking for that.

RE: Nurse uniforms--I think Janice would be dead sexy in a traditional white one with the peaked hat...like she was in the Muppets Comic Strip from Guy Gilchrist...

RE: Rizzo's accessories--pizzas and assorted food would probably go best with him, removable baseball cap maybe

RE: Star Wars Playskool sets--man, these are SWEET!!! Perfect toys, perfect price point--I even like the Episode One set, and I'm not the biggest fan of li'l Annie.

RE: Star Wars Hasbro--I've almost got all of the AOTC that I intend to buy, but I'm really disappointed with the look of some of the major characters, most shockingly Obi-Wan...doesn't look ANYTHING like Ewan, IMHO. I kinda dig the magnets in the hands to hold the lightsabers, though, and love the various Jedi out there...Shaak Ti, Luminara Unduli---female alien Jedi rule!!!

RE: Breeding and hair loss--in the last ten weeks, I swear I've aged ten years. And that's not pretty. "Distinguished," perhaps, but not "pretty."

I think that's all of my opinions.

Quinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Ken,

I would like everything that is possible to be as true to the show as possible.

I didnt even understand that myself... - LOL

And putting Janice in one of those other nurses outfits for me, Would just ruin it.

Remember this 'nurses suit' is like a Pepe, Its something not true to the show.

see ya

I figure the Miss Piggy would look and sell better in a traditional nurses uniform. And since she doesn't look like she did on the show, why fuss over wether or not she's dressed like she was on the show?

Luke,

Remember i know where you live...

Well at least i know what county and city you live in !

But really it would (im still angry from the Muppet Workshop thread) really ***** me off if Janice came like that.

I want Nurse Janice, Nurse Piggy and Dr Bob all in the same uniform as they were on the show.

See ya

LOL Warrick *Worried Look* - I also want Janice in Scrubs, but i think Piggy is a figure that would look and sell better in a traditional nurses outfit. Maybe they could do a variant of her in Scrubbs using Janices torso or something but i do feel that two figures, both arriving in the same wave, both dressed in Scrubs, is gonna be a turn off to anyone but the most harcore Muppet fan. Remember the line is supposed to be fun and varied to the general consumer too - i think having a Doctor, Traditional Nurse, and Surgeons Asst (Janice) in Scrubs is the perfect compromise.

I agree (the Luke and Duke mutual appreciation society).
I think Janice should have scrubs, and Piggy a traditional nurses outfit... with the Piggy in scrubs as the one per case variant.
I think it is risky enough to have the only two strong females in the same series, without having them dressed identically.
