1. Would you want the Nurse Janice and Nurse Piggy to come in scrubs, just like the show, or is there a chance it could be cool to do them as Nurse's in more of a traditional Nurse outfit? (I think I already know the answer to this one.)
The Pig in a traditional nurses uniform, for the reasons I mentioned earlier -- But as the in the case variant, Pig in Scrubs
Janice in the Scrubs, since they fit her personality better

2. What would you like Rizzo to come with. Ideas? Suggestions? Wish lists?

Thanks,
Ken

No real Rizzo accessories. I am of the opinion that due to his size, Rizzo himself should be an accessory

Ken-

Two Quick Question's

1) Will the Exclusive Gonzo from Series 5 (I Know, it might be too soon to tell but...) also come with Camilla. I mean if he does we'd have two chickens, all Chickens look a like, Two Rats, one you will know is Rizzo but the other is a Rizzo from the early days when he looked just like a rat, all we'd need now is penguines.

2) Is the Exclusive Gonzo from Series 5 a Tux Version or a sweater version because if he's tux you could always put Camilla in with the regular Gonzo & a penguine with the exclusive Gonzo. Think about it Penguines would go great as pack in's for Tux versions of characters as the are also Black. You could always say it's Camilla also in a tuxedo.

I was looking through James chart and if it's accurate (You never know all is not confirmed) it stays pretty strong upto Series series 6. especially series 6 i mean it has Rowlf, Piggy, Statler, Waldorf & Janice and series 5 also looks strong with Gonzo & Rizzo, two of the main five.

Then at series 7 in gets a bit weak, maybe you should throw in a Kermit in there as there will not have been a Kermit since Series 1 from series 1 we will have had 4 Piggy, 4 Gonzo's, and then the same number of Links (Hogthrob) as Kermit's. Maybe the two big guns in series 7 should be Kermit & Pepe, but your the guy in charge so it's pretty much up to you.

Lips is one of three characters on what I call my Extreme Wish List for next year. BUT, he may not see the light until 2004. Whether we do him or not, he is on the radar for me at least.
WHAT ARE THE OTHER TWO KEN?!? TELL US, TELL US PLEEEEEEASE!

Also, if Janice isn't coming with the hospital... can we have a hint?

Immediate questions first. Rest later. Very tired.

If I were in charge of the line, I would probably put Dr. Bob in a VH playset. He hasn't been in one, he's a major character and Piggy will have already been in PIS Playset.

The other two high on my radar list right now are Pepe and Clifford. Those two I am really interested in as figures and would love to see in the line...but like I have said, anything can happen and often does. (I realize both are not TMS characters)

Not sure if there will be a Gonzo exclusive in Series 5. Heck, I can only speculate at this point what we may or may not do that far out. So many things shift and flow. Truth is, as far as I am concerned, the only thing that is ever really solid in development are those things that are either tooled or are being tooled in Asia. SO far that would only cover series 1-3. Even 4 could change. Nature of the biz.

I don't get the Series 7 being weak comment. First, Series 7 is tentative right now. It is more likely than not going to be something nobody expects. I have a tentative planned line-up through Series 10, but you never know.

Anyway, I'll answer any other outstanding questions tomorrow with the morning coffee...

Saw Minority Report today. Good movie...really makes one think. Also picked up the Playskool Hoth set today. THOSE THINGS ARE VERY COOL. I know it ain't muppet stuff, but hey, what's a guy to do?

I'm voting for Piggy in traditional Nurses outfit, and Janice in Scrubs. Piggy in traditional outfit would be so cool and sell so well. I think having two figures come out both in scrubs or both in nurses outfits might not be so good - we need a lil' variety with our medical themed action figs ! LOL

I'm glad the Pepe topic has come up again. Would be good to see him but not in Muppet Show packaging - that would be too much for fans to handle i think. Would also be good to see that Pepe in a Tutu variant as well as a regular Pepe.

HIYA KEN and others...

Hey, I was just playing with some toys...I MEAN PLACING THEM BACK ON THE SHELVES (yeah, that's it, sure...) and it was the Star Wars MicroMachines Action Fleet, with the ships and tiny little figures whose arms move and legs bend to sit in the ships. Disney did some stuff like that in their "Tiny Collection" toys...and I'm wondering...

Would folks be like me and purchase sets of these things as Muppets if they were made? Like, with a little Muppet Theater and packs of little Muppets (like 5-10 in a back, ie the way Star Wars did their ewoks and Action Fleet Battle Packs)?

What ya'll thinkin? Am I an idiot or am I market savvy? Well, we already know I'm an idiot, but whatchoo thinkin?

Poor Ken you put up with so much from us. I agree, the Stompin' Wampa is very cool. I also like the one that comes with the leeeeeetle Darth Vader.

An off Muppet question:
Are the Year Without a Santa Clause figures going to be in scale with the ones that Memory Lane/Playing Mantis did a couple of years ago? I hope so.

And One Muppet question:
I saw earlier you were mentioning a Halloween set (I am assuming for next year, as there is no way you can do it for this year. How about a 3 or 4 pack (or even a case assortment off 4 individuals) of the Muppets as each other? Kermit as Gonzo and Piggy as Camilla comes to mind. Or Waldorf as Fozzie and Statler as Animal.

Just an idea

Zack, i think it was him ) Anyway I'd love to see A kermit on a wheel chair, but as it is pointed out by Ken these figures can't sit so maybe crachets would be better.
yep that was me!

I think Rowlf should come with the vets set, just as fozzie is coming with the patrol set(if made)

KEN) the score cards are perfect! they can be used, i don't understand the plant, yes i have seen the ep, but what the heck would statler do with it???? with the score cards they can always rate what they are seeing as they ALWAYS DO! with the plant people will think statlers a gardner or something....

Zack)Rowlf the, just make sure the scores are low and you could make diffrent ones for both statler and waldorf.Dog.

hey Ken,
A few things

First, I'm working on a thead called "Don't ask ken at Palisades!" which will basically be an FAQ to ry and get 65 pages down to 1 or so, so you don't have to answer the SAME questions over and over. It's basically comporavble to the "Piecing the figure rumors toghether" thread I started in the old board. i'll have it up in a doay or so as this is an undertaking.

2) I'm voting Janice and Piggy in Scrubs as well as voting Rowlf in the vet's hospital playset.

3) things for Rizzo. I like the Pizza box. And someone a fewp ages back mentioned the Muppet trunk. I like that. Can'r rhink of anythign lse though.
