That's right, dangit, and let's not forget it. I was, believe it or not, a Real Girl Scout. For a long time. I was in agonies because my dad was an Explorer Post and Eagle Scout Leader, in the 1960s, and those boys were doing all the Cool Stuff. They were hiking Mt. Katahdin whilst we were home making doilies and things. Whatever it was we were making. That was the '60s. Very frustrating indeed. I resigned from the Girl Scouts so that I could become a Boy Scout. They wouldn't let me in, geez. So I quit entirely. But I do appreciate the Girl Scouts and must assume they have evolved.

Actually, it's quite frustrating because right now they are trying to implement too many new programs at once. But at least they're trying.
No doilies.
I went on a trip to Mexico with my Girl Scout troop in 2001-2002, and next summer I'm going to India with a group of Girl Scouts.
