I wonder what it would be like if M&M/Mars owed the Muppets or Disney gave them that kind of attention.

But that's a candy company. How would they know how to make feature films and stuff?

True. But I admire their marketing skills at what they have accomplished. I bet if they ever decided to have an M&M puppet show, they would market it and promote it beautifully.

Or do kind of a marketing tie in, where you have Ms Piggy talking to the Green M&M and being all Diva like and telling her to watch it, she runs this stage, and the Green one saying "You wish" and just kinda have a whole tie-in.

Where's the "Save Muppets" campaign?

Sci fi cancels Farscape, millions of people worldwide go on an all out internet media blitz awareness jihad with signatures and making themselves heard.

The Muppets themselves are putting much thrown in a closet for good,
and Muppet fans sigh a collective "well, at least we'll get a couple dvd reissues a year".

Probably. I used to see it on wikipedia, too. Maybe he's to blame for Disney's cold flippers!

lol could be but I really think the lack of interest of the muppets right now is because they 1. aren't doing anything with them besides working on season 2's dvd which then I think they will atleast start shoving them on tv more often again to promote it.
2. eisner is gone and he's the one who wanted the muppets.
3. it seems no one really wants the muppets around anymore but us hardcore fans and even then some of us would rather them go away than to have them being made fools of every chance disney gets and ruining jims name.
oh and 4. I think this thread should be closed since it really no longer serves any kind of purpose.
