Once again, the divine Miss P. is up on her high horse. (A mustang clops by, whinnying in an irritated fashion at having to carry Miss Piggy on its back.)

Poor Scooter...we do put him through his paces on this forum, don't we?

Yes, you certainly do! I'd love to know what's going on in Piggy's head right now, even if I have to break through to get to it!
You know, when I read the first chapter of this story I couldn't stop laughing! Sorry girls, but Sarah and Norah are clambering all over Scooter, and who does he pick; Annie Sue Pig! I'm sorry if I found that amusing.
Cute. Cute story.

Well, now, I wouldn't say Nora was exactly clambering all over Scooter; she was too busy dodging the Killer Fish and keeping her psychotic younger twin siblings in check, plus Scooter seemed fairly interested in her...but who cares, it's strictly arbitrary.
Let's see where this is going next. For Scooter, it seems that Miss Piggy's snide comments tend to hurt more than her karate chops.

Chapter 4

Kermit was looking through the schedule for the next show in the boarding house, while sitting in his beat up Laz-E-Frog chair.
"Sheesh, how many times is Sam the Eagle going to have a comedy routine? It's just not funny...." Before he could continue with his thoughts, Annie Sue walked through the front door with a worried expression on her face.
"Kermit, have you seen Scooter?" She asked.
"Umm....no I haven't. Is he missing?"
"Well, he hasn't been returning my calls, and I'm starting to get worried."
Kermit got up from his chair, and put the clipboard on the side table.
"Don't worry. I'll help yo find him. I'll gather up some of the guys for help."
And with that, they went into the city, to look for Scooter.

"Scooter? Scooter!" Kermit was yelling at the top of his lungs.
"Oh, where could he be?" Annie Sue was really worried now.
"Don't worry. We'll find him. Gonzo, Fozzie, why don't you guys check the computer store across the street."
"You got it Kermit!" Gonzo said enthusiasticly.
"Hey Gonzo, what kid of snacks do computers serve?"
"I don't know Fozzie, what?"
"Micro-chips! Wocka wocka!"
"Will you two just go?!"
Gonzo and Fozzie went across the street to look in the computer store.
"Piggy, you and I will check at Hunt's resturant."
"To get a bite to eat?" She asked innocently.
"No Piggy, to look for Scooter. You know, this is your fault to begin with."
"Hey, I didn't know that the little twerp would listen to me."
"Sheesh. Let's just go. Annie Sue, you and Pepe check in the park."
"You got it sir."
"It would be my pleasure hokay? How you doing piggily wiggily?"
"Don't even think about it buster. I'm taken."
"Fair enough hokay?"

Annie and Pepe looked high and low, but no sign of Scooter.
"Oh Scoots, come back to me."
But just then, she saw that familiar yarn haired head, looking downcast. Scooter was sitting on a park bench, looking very sad.
"Scoots!" Annie ran up to Scooter, and gave him a huge hug. He was rather surprised, but didn't hug back.
"Where have you been? You've had me so worried! I...."
"Annie, we need to talk."
"Uh oh. Uh....ooh! The iced cream man hokay?" Pepe ran off in the direction of the ice cream truck.
"Scoots..."
"Annie, I don't think we should see each other anymore."
Annie was visibly shocked.
"Why?"
"I was thinking about what Miss Piggy said, and she's right. We can't continue seeing each other. It wasn't meant to be."
"Please listen Scoots...."
"Annie please. These past two months have been great, but, we can't continue like this."
Annie started to tear up. Scooter lifted her head, and gently kissed her. Then, in the spirit of the moment, he took off his Muppet Show jacket, and gave it to her. She didn't say a word.
"Please don't forget me." Scooter said.
She didn't say anything. She just held the jacket, not looking at him.
As Scooter walked away, Kermit and Piggy came running up.
"Did you find him?" Piggy said, not caring.
Kermit took a look at the jacket that Annie was holding.
"I think she did." He frowned at Piggy.
"I hope you're proud of yourself." He said. He stormed off in the direction that Scooter left.
"What did I miss, hokay?" Pepe asked with a big vanilla mustache on his face.

I second Renee's sentiment on the vanilla mustache.

But Oh! Scooter! And Annie! So broken hearted... And Kermit's mad at Piggy for it! Oh gosh, that's funny... In an ironic sort of way, I mean...

MORE PLEASE!

Chapter 5

"......Sam the Eagle on stage please....Sam....stage....please..." Scooter said unenthusiasticly.
Kermit frowned while looking at the show schedule.
"Sheesh. Sam can be awfully persuasive, but his comedy routine isn't funny at all."
Kermit looked at Scooter. He was extremely depressed, and looked the part too.
"Hey kid. How ya doing?" Kermit asked.
"...oh, you know chief.....hanging in there."
Kermit put his hand on Scooter's shoulder.
"Listen, don't listen to Piggy. She's just being difficult."
"As always." Scooter interjected.
"Yeah, as always. But you shouldn't listen to her."
"But she's right Kermit. Annie's a pig, and I'm a gopher. You know, go for sandwitches, etc. etc. I could never make her happy."
Kermit scrunched his face as in thought.
"Well, she was happy when she was with you, wasn't she?"
"....yeah."
"Well...." Kermit asked, as in making a point.
"Chief, forget it. I made up my mind."
Kermit stood up as Sam walked off stage.
"I certainly killed them tonight!" He said triumphantly.
"You wish." Kermit said under his breath.
Just then, Piggy walked down the stairs, but Scooter was sitting on the bottom step in her way.
"Hey shrimp, get out of the way. Moi has to perform."
It was either Piggy's demand, or Scooter's depression that set him off at that moment.
"No, I don't think I will."
"I beg your pardon?!" Piggy said demanding.
"NO I WON'T PIG!! DO YOU HEAR ME?!?!" Scooter was standing and facing Piggy now. She was starting to get intimidated.
"Scooter?" She said timidly.
"You always get what you want! And yet, when I get the one thing that I always wanted, you take it away from me!"
Scooter took a deep breath.
"So the next time you want to say something......STICK IT IN YOUR GIANT EGO, BACONHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!"
Scooter was huffing and puffing, and he stormed out the exit door.
Piggy was left in a stunned state, and Kermit was watching the whole thing.
"Nice going." Was all he had to say.
Piggy started to think. "What have I done? Am I really that selfish?"
