Don't worry, you're not scaring anyone. All those worries are normal and you should put those things first.

Just take everything one day at a time, the good and the bad, and you will be just fine!

Don't worry about it, Lisa. I ended up being absent from this forum for nearly eight weeks because life was so crazy. Life happens. It's understandable. Update whenever you have the time!

Hmmm, this one. Maybe I could work on this story. I must say, I was surprised to see that among the 67 new e-mails I came home to, there was a notification of a post in this thread. And I was just thinking last night how it would be nice to get my ponderings back to the frog and pig, instead of the fifty other couples I've been playing with.

Yes, fifty. Slight exaggeration, but not by much. Because once you've worked out a whole elaborate thing with a new love interest for Scooter, you must then move on to that new character's mother, and then to her long lost sister, and thus end up with... You know what, I'm not going to count how many mini-relationships I've pondered through. The point is, sometimes you just need the frog and the pig.

But first, I have lots of cleaning to do. But hey, now I have a direction for my ponderings while I clean! (Actually, two directions, but y'know...)

Yay!! Would love to see an update for my fave fic! I was going to read this fic the whole way through yesterday in honor of memorial day but the forum was down; oh well, more reason for me to read it this week!

Have fun pondering while cleaning; hopefully we can see an update soon!

I'm anxious for an update on this one but I'm curious about your idea for a new love interest for Scooter and what could come of that too! I'd just love to see anything you write though honestly.

And I would love to get back to writing just about anything, but I'm afraid that won't be happening too much this week. My grandmother recently passed away; today was her funeral, and according to Jewish custom, we will be "sitting shiva" for a full seven days, which basically involves lots of sitting, talking, and eating with family and friends. So while I'm sure I spent at least an hour talking about writing with some distant cousin from California today, I'm afraid there won't be much time for putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard, as the case may be). It's an odd sort of atmosphere: On the one hand, we just lost my grandmother, but on the other hand, I just graduated college, my sister just got married, and we are surrounded by a bunch of cute little kids, including the happiest six-month-old on the planet. Seriously--this little girl might even beat out Robin on the adorable scale, and I have never heard her cry for more than two minutes at a time, if even that much.

Anyway, in the few quiet moments I have managed to find today, my thoughts have tended to revert to this story, so... We'll see what happens when things quiet down a bit around here. The last month has been quite the emotional roller coaster.

...Come to think of it... Is this what I put my characters through? ...Sheesh, I really am evil. :halo:

I'm so sorry for your loss, but congrats to graduating college and to all the other blessings in the family. Hope you find peace and solace, then come back to your writing when you are ready!

The good news: I finally finished the scene that has been stuck since... January, was it? Something like that, sure.

The bad news: I have yet another plot line to weave into my timeline of scenes. Oh, me and my insanity...
